What Is Among Us's New Update, Thanos Mode?

As you know, Among Us mods have been getting a lot of use lately. In a previous article, we talked about some popular game modes. Sheriff, Doctor, and Prankster modes in particular have been getting a lot of play. Thanos mode is a mod that turns the player the system picks as the Impostor into Thanos, the evil, immortal figure from Marvel's Infinity Saga. In the mod, Thanos gains new powers based on the Infinity Stones and, in addition to the regular kill option, can eliminate a dead player entirely. That way, no body can be found or reported.

How Do You Play Among Us Thanos Mode?

Popular YouTubers and programmers Sub & Fletch are responsible for creating this mod. Thanos mode has also been made available for other creators in the Among Us community to use. While it's not currently possible to download it, players can join a server where Thanos mode is being used. They can also learn various details about the mod by talking to its creators on Twitter or various other platforms. Thanos mode gives the Impostor new extra abilities. In addition to the "Kill" and "Sabotage" buttons in the game, players can also make use of new upcoming buttons like the "Reality Stone", "Mind Stone", "Soul Stone", "Space Stone", and "Infinity Stones".

• Reality Stone: Lets Thanos flip the map upside down, making it harder to move around and complete tasks.
• Mind Stone: Lets Thanos use mind control on a crewmate.
• Space Stone: Lets Thanos teleport anywhere they want on the map.
• Soul Stone: Lets the Thanos Impostor revive a killed player, making them loyal to Thanos and a second Impostor.

When Thanos uses the "Kill" button, there will be a player's dead body in-game for other players to find, report, or for Thanos to revive. But if Thanos chooses to use the "Snap" button instead, the dead body disappears and no trace is left behind that they were killed.
