Apex Legends Season 15: Eclipse, is almost here, with a launch trailer released and a gameplay trailer that will definitely be worth following in the coming days. But among all the exciting new content coming to the game this season, including a new Legend, a new map and a new Battle Pass, one of the most exciting new additions is the gifting feature. The gifting system, one of the most exciting new additions to the game, lets players buy cosmetics and send them to their in-game friends. How do you send gifts in Apex Legends Season 15? Let's take a look!

How Do You Send Gifts in Apex Legends Season 15?

The gifting feature will launch when Season 15 begins on November 1. But how exactly does it work? The requirements are a little complicated, so be sure to check the gifting guidelines and instructions below before buying any item in the hope of sending it to a friend.

If you want to experience Apex's new gifting feature yourself, you first need to make sure you qualify for the gifting system. To successfully send a gift to someone else or to receive one yourself, you need to do the following:

• Make sure Login Verification is enabled.
• Reach level 10 or above (in the game's level progression system, not the Battle Pass).
• Send a friend request to the players you want to gift to and make sure the request is accepted by the other side.
• Be in-game friends with the players for at least 14 days.
• To send or receive a gift, make sure the account you are sending from is also in good standing.

What Gifts Can You Send in Apex Legends Season 15?

The new gifting system lets you send gifts to your friends, but not just any gift. Only items purchased from the in-game store using the game's premium currency, Apex Coins, can be gifted. Beyond that, though, the options are endless. From November 1, players can gift the following store items to their friends:

• Cosmetic skins for Legends and weapons.
• Holo sprays and weapon charms.
• Standard emotes and skydive emotes.

However, there are some items you cannot send. These include:

• Crafting Metals
• Legend Tokens
• Apex Coins
• Inventory items
• Items your friend already owns*
• "Evergreen" cosmetics**
• Items won from Themed Collection Event Apex Packs***

*There is one exception to this rule: Packs. If you send a friend a pack that contains an item they already own, you receive a discounted purchase price as a result.

**Evergreen cosmetics are items that have been permanently added to the game's cosmetic loot pool. They can be unlocked with Crafting Metals or purchased directly with Apex Coins. They cannot be used for gifting.

***Respawn's FAQ page says you cannot gift "Apex Coins". You cannot currently gift Themed Pack Collection Event items as a single gift or as a pack, but keep an eye out for this in future updates. This means players will soon be able to gift full sets of Collection Event items to their friends.

How Many Gifts Can You Send?

There is no overall limit on the gifts players can send to their friends, but there is a limit on how many they can send each day. You can only send five gifts per day, but although store bundles contain multiple items, they count as a single gift, so they can be used to get around the daily gift limit.

Can You Send Gifts to Players on Other Platforms?

Yes! You can send gifts to your friends even if they play on a different platform from you. "Cross-gifting" applies to every platform Apex Legends runs on, with the obvious exception of Apex Legends Mobile.
