Clash Royale is all about building decks with cards that work well together, and that's one of the most important factors in winning matches.

When you build your decks to work well together, you can make much more accurate plays and put a lot more pressure on your opponent. In this article, you'll see the matches we played with our troll deck, our favorite deck, and other deck types.

Here at Gamer Papers, we've put together our Troll Deck as shown above. The biggest feature of our Troll Deck is its average elixir cost of 3. That average elixir cost lets you constantly push new cards onto the field.

Another important feature of this deck is that it carries a counter card for almost every card in the game.

The cards in this deck deal high damage. That gives us the chance to launch a fast attack and take down a tower the moment our opponent's elixir runs low.

We handled our first defense with the Princess and Firecracker. We practically wiped the Electro Dragon, Inferno Dragon and Elixir Golem off the field in front of our tower with these two light cards. Our total elixir cost was 6, while our opponent's elixir cost at that moment was 12. In other words, we beat 12 elixir with just 6. Right after that successful defense, even though our opponent had built up elixir again, we launched a fast counterattack by pushing the Skeleton Army, Goblin Barrel and Knight onto the field one after another, and brought down the opponent's crown tower in 11 seconds. That counterattack was the most critical moment of the match, because we had cards in hand that could defend against every option, and winning 1-0 is always a good result. After taking down the opponent's crown tower, we simply waited for our opponent to commit cards, countered them, and closed out the match 1-0 for a comfortable win.

We Played a Match With the Clash Royale Troll Deck

In this match, our opponent had the Golem, the heaviest card in Clash Royale and one of the cards best suited to pressuring the light cards in our troll deck. Even so, the right trolling still got us the win. As you'll notice while watching the video, the most critical play of the match was our fast push on the other crown tower the moment our opponent committed the Golem in the opening seconds. As you can see at the 01:00 mark in the video, before the Golem had even reached the middle of the field, we were already ahead 1-0, and more importantly, up 2 elixir as well. I'm pointing this out because the side with the Golem urgently needed defending (the more elixir, the more defense).

Our opponent then continues the match by dropping a Golem on the other tower's side. We respond with another sudden push on the crown tower on the opposite side, making the score 2-0, and immediately start defending against the Golem. As you can see in the video, our solid defense paid off, and we won the match 2-1.

This win against the Golem, the card best suited to pressuring our deck, shows just how strong the Troll Deck put together by Gamer Papers really is.

Clash Royale Unbeatable/Favorite Deck 2021

Among the cards in our deck, the Wizard, Baby Dragon, Witch and Valkyrie all share the trait of dealing splash damage. Of these four cards, the Baby Dragon and Valkyrie have higher HP but lower hit strength. That's why these two cards are far more effective on defense. The Witch and Wizard, on the other hand, have lower HP but higher hit strength, making them far more effective on offense. You can comfortably use all 4 cards on both offense and defense.

The Inferno Tower in our Unbeatable Deck is a purely defensive card, and it's the best defensive building card in the game.

The Log and Skeleton Army act as our jokers. They can be used on defense or offense depending on how the match unfolds.

The last card in our favorite deck is the Hog Rider. The Hog Rider charges straight at the opponent's defensive buildings, which basically makes it the Jamie Vardy of our deck. It's a fast card with very high damage output, and it's very likely to turn nearly every counterattack into a goal. Opponents may try to stop the Hog Rider with the Skeleton Army, so our advice at Gamer Papers is to drop the Log right after the Hog Rider. That way, once the Log wipes out the skeletons, the Hog Rider will be left alone with the tower.

The only real counter to our deck is the Mega Knight. Beating Mega Knight decks comes down to using the Inferno Tower, Baby Dragon and Valkyrie correctly.

Clash Royale Executioner Deck

Here's the Executioner Deck we put together. While building this deck, we made sure to pick cards that could counter almost everything, while also being able to rush to quick wins with sudden attacks.

With the Valkyrie, Electro Wizard, Tornado and Zap in this deck, we can defend against almost every card.

The Inferno Dragon, Wizard and Magic Archer are cards that can suddenly deal high damage. Our opponent can find themselves down a tower before they even know what happened.

Combining the Executioner with the Tornado will wipe out every enemy troop caught in it.

We recommend using our Executioner deck, built with cards that can make a difference on both defense and offense.
