Portal 2

Assassin's Creed Origins

Could a best story games list be without Assassin's Creed games? As you know, we split Assassin's Creed games in two: before and after Origins. That is because the latest trilogy proceeds a bit differently from the standard Assassin's Creed games.

In Origins, we find ourselves in Egypt. Our character in the game, Bayek, is a Medjay. His duty is to protect the Pharaoh and the Egyptian people at the cost of his life.

But a group called the Order of Ancients kills the Pharaoh and his son. Afterward, Bayek rolls up his sleeves to avenge his son and turns Egypt upside down. Besides the main story, this game actually turns out quite nice thanks to its side quests.

If you have a thought like 100% completion, it can take a bit long. But both its story and gameplay are top-notch, five stars. If there is anyone who still hasn't played it, we say they should definitely play it.

HITMAN 2

Hitman is one of the old games, but the series continues. It is one of the best stealth games. But in our view Hitman 2 in particular is quite a good game. There is no place we don't go and no mission we don't do in it.

One moment you are secretly killing someone in the Formula 1 paddock, the next at a concert venue. In the holiday region, while sneaking into bamboo houses, we try to infiltrate special places in crowded settings.

Especially from the standpoint of stealth games, it has a very nice appeal. But for those who don't like this kind of game, it could be called trash. If you have the means, it will be more correct to play HITMAN 2 after playing the first game.

Crysis Remastered

When the game first came out, it made a splash worldwide. It was a source of pride for Türkiye's gamers because there were Turks behind this game. Years passed and the Remastered version of the game arrived. Of course it has to be among the best story games, because even today the game has a very nice story.

In the game, we play a character named Nomad. Our character is in the USA's Delta forces. We are heading to an island off the coast of North Korea, because there is an ancient spaceship on this island and we need to find out what it is.

But the North Koreans don't know we are here, at least until the fighting starts. By the way, the fighting is not only between us and the North Koreans. Aliens have also turned hostile toward us.

We fight both of our enemies with the abilities the nanosuit we are wearing gives us. It is a game where the action never ends. But its story is quite impressive. It will be better to play the Remastered version than the first game.

Max Payne

In 1998, we are a police officer working for the New York Police Department (NYPD). One evening we have left work, and we feel uneasy. We are going home, but what's this? Our door is open. When we go in, we realize our home has been attacked.

We draw our guns and start killing, because our beloved wife and child are in the house too. But the attackers who entered our home have unfortunately killed them. Then we immediately swear revenge.

For the rest of the story we generally find ourselves in the middle of shootouts, but it is an extremely immersive, nice story. In fact, in our view, Max Payne is a game that John Wick-style movies were inspired by. Although it has bad graphics by today's quality standards, you can open and play it in periods when you are without a game.
