Clancy in Brawl Stars arrived as a new brawler with the patch notes released on June 22, 2024. Clancy stands out with his lobster-like design. His abilities and staged upgrade mechanic have won over plenty of players. If you're going to play Clancy for the first time, in this article we'll go over Clancy's abilities in Brawl Stars. Let's see what kind of abilities this brawler has.

What Are Clancy's Abilities in Brawl Stars?

The character's main attack consists of the following stages:

• First stage: At this stage, Clancy fires a single paintball in a straight line. This basic attack is simple, but effective for starting interactions and kicking off the upgrade process.
• Second stage: Clancy's attack becomes stronger, allowing him to fire two paintballs in a row. This stage increases his damage output and his ability to hit multiple targets.
• Third stage: In this final stage, Clancy fires four paintballs instead of two, with two extra paintballs fired diagonally on either side. This upgrade significantly increases his area of effect, making him a threat in close combat.

What Is Clancy's Super?

Just like his main attack, Clancy's Super also consists of several stages:

• First stage: His Super fires several paintballs in a fan-like spread. This spread attack is perfect for damaging multiple enemies and controlling space on the battlefield.
• Second stage: The ability at this stage is similar to the first stage, but covers a much wider area. This increased range lets Clancy affect a broader area, making it harder for enemies to dodge his shots.
• Third stage: His Super gains an additional effect that grants a massive speed boost while using it. This upgrade doesn't just make it easier for Clancy to position himself strategically, it also boosts his ability to chase down opponents or escape from them.

In addition, some changes were also made to a few older brawlers during this month's update:

Frank

• Frank's attack speed now increases based on the percentage of health he's lost

Meg

• Basic attacks fired while in the Mecha now shoot more projectiles
• Reduced damage and range

Chester

• Chester's Star Power Bell'o'mania is now part of Chester's basic attack kit by default. This means Chester's attack sequence now has four stages by default.
• New Star Power: Solo Bell'o'mania (replaces Bell'o'mania) - The first bell in Chester's attack sequence deals 200% damage.

Mega Boxes, long awaited by players, have also returned with this update:

• Earn Star Tokens to unlock Mega Boxes. Star Tokens can be earned from your first win of the day in select game modes and featured new game modes.
• Other ways to earn Star Tokens during the event include Quests, Challenges, and a Mega Box in the Shop midway through the event.
• Mega Boxes can contain Coins, Power Points, Bling, Gems, XP Boosts, Brawlers, Player Icons, Badges, Skins, and the new Rico Hypercharge Skin (in two different colors).
• Players can also buy Mega Boxes from the Shop.
• Once enough Mega Boxes have been opened, the new Rico Hypercharge Skin will unlock for free.
