FC 24 Ultimate Team's Best Premier League Squad

In this article, I've put together the best Premier League squad you can build in Ultimate Team on FC24. I went through each card in the squad one by one and shared a few brief notes on each. I hope that after reading this, you'll build this squad in FC 24 Ultimate Team.

FC 24 Ultimate Team's Best Premier League Squad

Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker

Liverpool's Brazilian shot-stopper is our squad's goalkeeper. It wouldn't be wrong to say he's the best goalkeeper I've used this year. In a game where goalkeepers make so many mistakes, having a good one can make a huge difference.

Right-back: Kyle Walker

Manchester City's English right-back earns a spot in our squad. Walker's best attribute is definitely his pace and physicality. He can catch up to anyone on the pitch. And once he does, his strong physical presence lets him win the ball back for your team. If you're thinking of using him in attack, you might run into some trouble, since I can't say his dribbling and passing are all that great.

Centre-back: Virgil van Dijk

Liverpool's Dutch centre-back is, icons and heroes aside, definitely the best centre-back in the game right now. Thanks to his strong physicality, tall frame, and excellent defensive stats, there's no one on the pitch he can't catch. He can keep up with most opponents and win the ball back for your team with standing tackles. When he's on the ball, his technical attributes are good enough that he can comfortably pass it forward to your midfield or full-backs.

Centre-back: William Saliba

Arsenal's French centre-back is arguably at the peak of his form right now — we're talking about a player who recently outmuscled Haaland in a shoulder-to-shoulder duel. Saliba's card is so good it feels like having a Van Dijk on the pitch, only faster.

Left-back: Tariq Lamptey

Brighton's English full-back is currently the best left-back card in the Premier League. Standing at 163 cm, I think the only thing his card is missing is strength. But don't let that fool you — he can win one-on-one duels against wingers, though he may struggle a bit against tall, powerful strikers. Give up a bit of strength and you can add a very well-rounded full-back to your squad.

Midfielder: Sandro Tonali

Newcastle United's Italian midfielder, Tonali, is a player with every attribute you'd want in a midfielder balanced out nicely. Pair his top-tier physical capacity with a good relationship with the ball, and you get this card. He covers every part of the pitch and wins the ball back for your team. Just keep in mind he's not great when it comes to shooting. Another downside of the card is that he only has 3-star skill moves and a 4-star weak foot. In our squad, Tonali will play as a defensive midfielder.

Midfielder: Bruno Fernandes

The Red Devils' Portuguese star midfielder Bruno Fernandes gets a spot in our squad with his promo card. Coming from the UCL Road to the Knockouts promo, this card packs some excellent upgrades over his gold card. With very high technical capacity, this card's best attribute is his passing. Capable of playing very precise passes, this card can also produce very good shots. Even though his defensive stats look low, don't let that fool you — you're dealing with a very good central midfielder here. The card's biggest downside is definitely its 3-star weak foot.

Right Winger: Mohamed Salah

The Egyptian star that Liverpool fans have written songs about earns his spot on our right wing. One of the best cards from the recent Trailblazers promo, Salah is an incredible attacking weapon. Thanks to his top-tier pace, shooting, and dribbling, he'll be a huge help when it comes to scoring goals. With his technical PlayStyle, he'll feel great when doing R1 dribbling.

Left Winger: Luis Diaz

Just like our right wing, our left wing also features a Liverpool player. Colombian winger Luis Diaz has the stats to tear apart the right side of any opposing defense. Thanks to his high pace and dribbling, he can create chances, and thanks to his good shooting and passing, he can finish them off too. Also a player from an RTTK promo, Diaz's card can get upgrades based on Liverpool's Champions League performance.

Striker: Heung-min Son

The recent Premier League Player of the Month Son SBC is one of the strikers in our squad. Tottenham's South Korean star is just as good in FC 24 as he is this season in real life. Since he has the Finesse Shot PlayStyle, most of his finesse shots after entering the box will end up in the back of the net. On top of his 4-star skill moves, his 5-star weak foot makes this card excellent.

Striker: Erling Haaland

Manchester City's Norwegian striker Erling Haaland is the last player in our squad. On top of his tall frame and incredible physicality, his blistering pace and excellent shooting earn this card a spot in our squad. Coming from the UCL RTTK promo, Haaland's card gets a very good upgrade over his gold card. Haaland's base skill moves are 3-star, but his promo card comes with 4-star skill moves.
