Is FC 24 Getting an Open World Mode?

We're now almost counting the days until we can get our hands on EA FC 24! There's very little time left before we get to play the game and finally experience FIFA's newest title... While new features about the game are being revealed day by day and classic modes are making their return, a leak has also surfaced about a completely new game mode called FC 24 Open World Mode! Will the Open World Mode, a mode never before seen in FIFA history, be included in FC 24?

Is FC 24 Open World Mode a New Game Mode?

Some players who looked through EA's job listings section on its website noticed that one of the requirements in an Environment Art Director job listing was the need to "create a new virtual open-world environment". Many people who viewed this job listing wondered whether EA was about to add something completely new to its latest titles. This small leak has led many people to wonder how an open-world mode would work in EA FC 24.

Will Open World Mode Be Included in FC 24?

In FIFA 23's opening, we saw a brief moment of gameplay where you could dribble the ball through the streets before heading out onto the pitch. From a logistics and realism standpoint, having an open-world FIFA Street mode could work, and might even bring a fresh breath of life to VOLTA. EA FC 24 isn't rumored to be getting a battle royale mode, but open-world elements could remain and offer different challenges.

It also seems possible that the whole "open world" element could simply be a reference to creating a wider landscape for stadium cutscenes and other scenes.
