FC 25 Midfield Wonderkids

Our FC 25 midfield wonderkids list will cover CAM (attacking midfielder), CDM (defensive midfielder), and CM (central midfielder) positions. Let's get into the list.

FC 25 Midfield Wonderkids: Jamal Musiala (86 OVR / 93 POT)

Bayern Munich and Germany's prized player Jamal Musiala stands out as the game's most promising midfielder. That's one of the reasons he tops the FC 25 midfield wonderkids list. He can play in the CAM, LM, and CM positions. He's also special for having 5 skill moves. With a High/Medium work rate, his dribbling stats look phenomenal. With agility and dribbling both above 90, he's one of the go-to picks for anyone wanting a nimble player in the CAM position.

FC 25 Midfield Wonderkids: Florian Wirtz (87 OVR / 92 POT)

One of the biggest contributors to Leverkusen ending Bayern Munich's dynasty last season, Florian Wirtz plays for the German national team just like Musiala. With a High/Medium work rate, he also has 4 skill moves and a 4-star weak foot. Wirtz's in-game stats shine brightest in dribbling and passing. With short passing at 90-plus and 87 dribbling, Wirtz will be the number one pick for anyone looking for both a nimble and technical player.

FC 25 Midfield Wonderkids: Jude Bellingham (88 OVR / 92 POT)

Bellingham has the potential to be one of the most complete attacking midfielders on our FC 25 midfield wonderkids list. Having played a part in Real Madrid's Champions League and La Liga title win last season, he might be the most complete CAM in the game. Nearly all of his dribbling, passing, finishing, physical, and defensive stats are above 80. Bellingham has 88 Finishing while also boasting 82 Interceptions. That's why he's the crown jewel of the FC 25 midfield list.

Pedri (86 OVR / 92 POT)

Barcelona's young midfielder Pedri didn't get many chances to play last season due to injuries. Once one of the players with the most appearances in a single year, his development was somewhat set back by injuries. Pedri has a High/High work rate, which lets him play both sides of the game well. Standing out with his dribbling stats, passing stats, and stamina, he looks like a fitting profile both for those looking for a player who can handle both sides of the pitch in midfield and for those looking for an agile midfielder.

Warren Zaïre-Emery (80 OVR / 90 POT)

Paris Saint-Germain's young midfielder Zaire-Emery is one of the defensively strong players on the EA FC 25 midfield list. With high pressing intensity, his defensive work rate is high while his offensive work rate sits at medium. With solid physical, defensive, and dribbling stats, Zaire-Emery stands out as a defensive midfielder with a quick-step playstyle. Zaire-Emery will be one of the top candidates for anyone wanting a player who's both quick and defensively strong.

Eduardo Camavinga (83 OVR / 90 POT)

Real Madrid's other standout midfielder, Camavinga, is one of the defensively strong players on our FC 25 midfield wonderkids list. With a High/High work rate, Camavinga looks like he can play both sides of the game, though with 64 Finishing he doesn't look like a player you can rely on much offensively. A left-footed young player who plays CDM, CM, and left-back, he stands out for his dribbling, defending, and physical stats. Thanks to playstyles like Tight Marking, Block, and Power Header, he looks like a good fit for anyone looking for a pressing midfielder.

Xavi Simons (82 OVR / 89 POT)

Coming off a successful EURO 2024 run with the Netherlands, Xavi Simons stands out with his Pace, Dribbling, and Passing. Able to play positions like CAM, LW, and LM, he's another top candidate for anyone looking for an agile, quick attacking midfielder.

Who will be FC 25's most well-known wonderkids?

Joao Neves (77 OVR / 88 POT)

Benfica's young Portuguese midfielder Joao Neves is on the radar of Europe's biggest clubs. Reportedly commanding a high transfer fee, he operates in the central midfield (CM) area. With a High/High work rate, he stands out for his physical and dribbling stats. With 90 Stamina and 81 Aggression, he's one of the players you could call a ball-winning machine. So if you're looking for a quality player when it comes to winning the ball, Neves could be the right fit for you.

Kobbie Mainoo (72 OVR / 87 POT)

Manchester United's young English player Mainoo has started making quite a name for himself this year. Standing out for his dribbling, he wows us with his ability to cover ground vertically with the ball. With a real knack for beating defenders through dribbles in midfield, Mainoo's Press Proven playstyle makes him a favorite for anyone looking for a dribbling midfielder.

Archie Gray (72 OVR / 86 POT)

The final player on our FC 25 midfield wonderkids list is rising young talent Archie Gray, who played for Leeds United last season and moved to Tottenham Hotspur for a high transfer fee for the 2024-25 season. A young player who can play CM, CDM, and right-back, he has a High/High work rate. His dribbling and physical stats look plenty solid, though his skill moves rating of 2 stars is a downside. Thanks to his ability to cover multiple positions, Archie Gray could be a player Career Mode and Ultimate Team players shouldn't overlook.
