FC 25 Turkish Wonderkids! The Most Promising Young Players!

FC 25 is launching soon. At EURO 2024, the Turkish national team made us proud, and some young talents from that squad, along with plenty of other Turkish young talents who have the potential to make us proud in years to come, will be waiting for their chance on the pitch. While we already have more than one young talent turning heads in European football, Turkish young talents are only going to get more attention from here. We've listed some Turkish players you can sign and develop in Career Mode and Ultimate Team in the new FC 25.

FC 25 Turkish Wonderkids: Can Uzun (72 OVR / 84 POT)

Can Uzun, who played for Nürnberg in Bundesliga 2 last season, shone with a stat line of 16 goals and 2 assists. That performance earned him a transfer to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. The 18-year-old is 186cm tall and can play in three different positions. Able to feature as a second striker (CF), attacking midfielder (CAM), and midfielder (CM), Can Uzun was called up to Türkiye's EURO 2024 provisional squad but didn't make the final tournament roster. Even so, he's very likely to become a mainstay for the Turkish national team in the coming years. We expect his potential in the new game to reach at least 85.

FC 25 Turkish Wonderkids: Semih Kılıçsoy (68 OVR / 84 POT)

Semih Kılıçsoy, who played for Beşiktaş last season, was hands-down his team's star even in his debut season. The young Turkish talent, only 18, put up 11 goals and 4 assists in the league. Playing in a style reminiscent of Agüero, Semih can feature in three different positions. Able to play as a striker (ST), left winger (LW), and right midfielder (RM), he shows off real attacking versatility. Having already caught the eye of European clubs, Semih Kılıçsoy could become one of the national team's indispensable players in the years ahead. We expect Semih to reach at least 85 potential in FC 25, and we may well see his overall rating climb too.

FC 25 Turkish Wonderkids: Efe Akman (62 OVR / 83 POT)

Even though he hasn't featured much for the first team yet, 18-year-old Efe Akman is one of the players with the highest potential. Here's how high his potential is: if Roma wanted to sign Efe Akman, they'd get first priority. That agreement was a pre-deal made around the same time Zaniolo joined Galatasaray. Able to play as a defensive midfielder (CDM) and midfielder (CM), Efe Akman is one of the players who could take up a role in the national team's midfield in the years ahead. Since he still hasn't gotten much first-team playing time, we don't expect his overall to change much.

Kenan Yıldız (66 OVR / 83 POT)

Having come up through Bayern Munich's academy before transferring to Juventus, and getting a shot with a Serie A giant like Juventus, Kenan Yıldız is one of the most eye-catching names on the list. The 187cm, 19-year-old talent continues to get playing time with the Turkish national team at EURO 2024. Of course, even though Kenan Yıldız is a player many already know with a high real-world market value, that value still hasn't been reflected in his EA FC stats. The young Turkish star can play as a second striker (CF) and left midfielder (LM), and we hope this season's performances will push his overall and potential to a higher level, making him one of the best young talents in FC 25.

Ahmetcan Kaplan (68 OVR / 81 POT)

Ahmetcan Kaplan, the 19-year-old centre-back who came up through Trabzonspor's academy and played for the club in Türkiye, has slowly started getting playing time at Ajax. If it weren't for the unfortunate injuries he's had since joining Ajax, this young Turkish talent might have gotten even more playing time; he's currently part of the Turkish national team at EURO 2024. Even though he's currently a rotation player, he has the potential to become one of the national team's go-to centre-backs in the years ahead. Considering that centre-backs tend to get more experienced and improve their performance as they age, Ahmetcan Kaplan's future looks wide open. Being 1.89m tall and left-footed is also a huge advantage, since left-footed centre-backs have become extremely valuable in recent years. Even though we don't think his potential will change drastically in EA FC 25, his value could rise further depending on the updates he gets throughout the year and how much playing time he earns.

İsak Vural (58 OVR / 79 POT)

İsak Vural, 18 years old and 185cm tall, plays in the academy of Italian Serie A side Frosinone. Able to play as an attacking midfielder, İsak Vural hasn't gotten first-team playing time yet, but he's one of the up-and-coming players to watch. He's also an appealing pick for Career Mode players thanks to his low price. Depending on his development in the years ahead, he could become one of the national team's indispensable players. That said, we don't expect his overall stats to change much in FC 25 compared to FC 24.

Deniz Dilmen (64 OVR / 79 POT)

Başakşehir's young Turkish goalkeeper Deniz Dilmen is 19 years old and left-footed. Standing 198cm tall, he also gets playing time with the Turkish national team's youth age groups. Given the foreign-player limit in the Turkish league, it doesn't look too difficult for him to get playing time and keep developing. Also, since goalkeepers, much like centre-backs, tend to perform better as they age and gain experience, Deniz Dilmen's future looks quite promising. We expect his stats to stay largely unchanged in EA FC 25.

Eren Arda Şan (57 OVR / 79 POT)

Eren Arda Şan, an 18-year-old, 193cm-tall right-footed striker who plays for İstanbulspor, made his mark with 12 goals in 19 matches in the U-19 league. He's also gotten first-team playing time in the Süper Lig, and has the potential to play as a striker for the Turkish national team in the years ahead. As a tall player, he has the skill set to be considered for a target-man striker role. While we don't expect major stat changes specific to FC 25, we think he's a player with the potential to make headlines more often in the years to come.

Efe Sarıkaya (61 OVR / 78 POT)

The 185cm-tall, left-footed Turkish centre-back Efe Sarıkaya transferred to French Ligue 2 side Grenoble Foot. Able to also play at left-back, Efe Sarıkaya features for the Turkish national team's youth age groups. Thanks to the breakout potential he could have in a league like France's, which places real value on player development, he could start making a name for himself in the years ahead. While we don't expect his potential to rise dramatically in FC 25, the playing time he gets could boost his potential quite a bit.

Yasin Özcan (63 OVR / 77 POT)

Yasin Özcan, the 185cm-tall, left-footed Turkish young talent who plays for Kasımpaşa, is one of the players who's gotten the most playing time on this list (FC 25 Turkish Wonderkids). Linked with big clubs in the Turkish league at just 18 years old, he stands out by being able to play both left-back and left centre-back. Despite being a defender, Yasin Özcan has 2 goals and 1 assist in the league this season, and he also features for the Turkish national team's youth age groups. Having caught the eye of many scouts in Europe, the young player looks like one of the players with the most room to grow on this list. Even so, EA FC still hasn't given Yasin Özcan the rating he deserves in FC 24. His rating and potential haven't gone up despite all that playing time, so we expect the Turkish star to reach higher potential in FC 25.
