FIFA 23 January 31, 2023 Update Patch Notes

FIFA 23 Title Update 7 has gone live. The update will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One. The FIFA 23 January 31, 2023 update notes fix a transfer bug that caused all filters to be cleared after a search. Ultimate Team, gameplay, and general issues are also addressed with the new patch.

FIFA 23 January 31, 2023 Update: Ultimate Team

The following Ultimate Team issues have been fixed:

• When returning from the Transfer Market Live Search Results after searching using search filters, those filters were incorrectly reset to their default settings.
• This issue was previously listed on the EASF Tracker.
• Player Items sometimes displayed incorrectly in the Transfer Targets tile.

FIFA 23 January 31, 2023 Update: Gameplay

The following gameplay issues have been fixed:

• Improved referee logic when making an offside call while the offending player is outside the field of play.
• In some rare cases, a pass requested by the ball carrier could not be executed.
• Some tackle animations did not play correctly.
• At times, the Outside of the Foot Shot animation did not trigger when a shot was correctly requested.

FIFA 23 January 31, 2023 Update: General, Audio, and Visual Fixes

• Added the ability to automatically download players' latest visual assets, such as balls, kits, and more, without a Title Update.
• Automatic downloads can occur when launching the title or entering modes.
• An on-screen message will appear while the download is in progress.
• Downloads can be canceled manually by following the on-screen button prompt.
• Some kits, badges, player portraits, and tifos may be updated.

The following general, audio, and visual issues have been fixed:

• Play Time Match Limit messages could not be dismissed once a set limit had been reached.
• This issue was previously listed on the EASF Tracker.
• Addressed an EA anti-heat stability issue that could, in some cases, prevent the game from launching.
• On some save screens, EA Social was unintentionally accessible.
