Who Are the FIFA 23 MOTM Players?

Erling Haaland

Some of the standout moments come from the Champions League, where Erling Haaland took center stage. The Norwegian scored 5 goals in City's Round of 16 win over RB Leipzig, earning himself a significant boost in FIFA 23.

Joshua Kimmich

Haaland wasn't the only one making headlines in the UCL — Bayern Munich's superstar and captain Joshua Kimmich did the same in a different way. Kimmich, who was on target with both feet against PSG, played a key role in Bayern beating PSG and advancing in the Champions League.

Havertz

Chelsea's Kai Havertz also received a significant boost, so Kimmich isn't the only German star rewarded in the latest Man of the Match drop. Havertz, who helped Potter's side beat Borussia Dortmund at Stamford Bridge, also received Man of the Match status.

And when domestic competitions are factored in, it's not just UCL stars who get major rewards. Bruno Fernandes was rewarded for his classy performances for Manchester United in both the Carabao and Emirates FA Cups, with the Portuguese attacking midfielder on track to reach a 90 OVR rating. Sheffield United's Tommy Doyle was also boosted after the Man City loanee scored against Blackburn in the FA Cup to send the Blades to Wembley.
