FIFA Mobile 22's Manager Mode was added to the game this morning! We knew since the beta version that manager mode was coming to FIFA Mobile 22, but we didn't expect to see this mode before March even arrived! So what is this FIFA Mobile manager mode? How do you unlock FIFA Mobile 22 manager mode? How will it play? Here's everything you need to know about FIFA Mobile 22 manager mode!

What Is FIFA Mobile 22 Manager Mode? How Do You Play It?

We'd previously seen FIFA Mobile 22's manager mode in the Chinese version of the game. Generally, everything added to FIFA Mobile gets tested in that version first before coming here :) Unfortunately, we can't describe FIFA Mobile's manager mode as career mode, because it works quite differently. The reason this mode is called manager mode is that we don't play the matches ourselves. The matches are played by the players we put in our squad, and we only give tactics from the sidelines. Based on how the match is going, we manage our players and can have the team play defensively or offensively, trying to secure the win that way.

How Do You Play FIFA Mobile Manager Mode?

Of course, the most important thing in this mode is player GENs. If we've actually built a team with high GEN, we'll be the favorite in most matches. But at the same time, setting up your formation and giving the right tactics to have your team play correctly is very important. You can think of the gameplay in this mode like watching two computers play each other once you throw the controller aside from the select sides screen.

You can enter Division Rivals and select Manager Mode. Then you'll be shown divisions. You're trying to climb these divisions using only your GEN and tactical ability, moving up from silver to gold and even elite division for bigger rewards!

How Do You Unlock FIFA Mobile 22 Manager Mode? When Does It Release?

We already knew FIFA Mobile 22 manager mode was coming from the beta version, but we didn't expect it this early! This mode says it unlocks at user level 14 once you enter Division Rivals, but even if you meet user level 14, it won't unlock until FIFA Mobile itself turns the mode on. Whenever FIFA Mobile decides to release this event (maybe the evening of February 26, between 6 and 10), that's when the mode will become available to users! We'll try to wait as patiently as we can until it releases!
