Recruitment Features

With the new recruitment board meetings and more input options from the staff you bring together, we know recruitment was an extremely important feature in FM 22. FM 23 wants to expand on that even further by adding some new recruitment features to the game.

Squad Planner

Squad Planner is a feature that lets players rank the members of their squads to help visualize strengths and weaknesses. A new resource emerges that lets players plan their club's near future in short-term recruitment as well as with current squads.

New Agent Interactions

Agents play important roles in recruitment. Agents can get you the star you need, but they can also be an obstacle in your way. We know that in FM 23 agents will have some new interaction options to speed up the recruitment process.

Match AI and animations are the tools through which FM players experience the games they manage.

Sports Interactive continues to work on AI managers. With a large number of simulations built on this data, the team has seen what managers can do for the AI in tactics, instructions and much more.

Defensive Tactics and AI

FM has started to move toward high presses and fast-paced aggressive football. In FM 23, new defensive tactical instructions will close the gap between styles. FM 23 will also include smarter tackling angles and better AI defending with many different features.

Goalkeepers
