What Is Ghost of Tsushima's Story?

Ghost of Tsushima is an action-adventure game developed by Sucker Punch Productions in 2020. The game has been one of the most completed and played titles on PlayStation 4 recently, practically challenging its rivals in the open-world space. As for the story, Ghost of Tsushima is set in 1274. There's a Mongol invasion of Tsushima Island. The people of Tsushima are trying to resist the Mongol raids. In the game, we play a character named Jin Sakai. Our character is one of the people fighting back against the Mongol raids. Jin Sakai fights in this war alongside his uncle. But after our character and his people suffer heavy defeats, Mongol soldiers start spreading across Tsushima Island. Thankfully, our character escapes without taking a heavy blow, though only after facing great hardship. His uncle, however, is captured by the Mongols. As a result of these events, he takes charge of a guerrilla campaign against the Mongols, and from this point on, we watch our character transform into a ghost. The story is built around our character and his struggles.
