Why San Andreas?

San Andreas offered an experience well ahead of its time in many areas, whether in graphics or gameplay mechanics. Because of all these standout qualities, no matter how many games are added to the series, it's still a game you can enjoy playing today. One of the game's most distinctive features was its massive map. This huge map brought with it a lot of detail: plenty of main and side quest opportunities, varied locations, and car and pedestrian types that changed depending on the location. In Los Santos, where we started out, we'd see plenty of gang members on the streets by design, while heading further into Bone County, the more rural part of the state, we'd start seeing more farmers. Likewise, when we went to Las Venturas, the more developed and wealthy part of the state, we'd start seeing people who were fancier, better dressed, and even walked differently. Cars changed the same way depending on the region, ranging from cheap cars to off-road vehicles and sports cars. This variety within the game was one of the key details that made it so enjoyable. These delightful features, far ahead of their time, gave all of us memories we'll never forget.
