Guardians of the Galaxy PC File Size Cut to 80GB

Developed by Eidos-Montréal, the action-adventure game that takes you on a journey through the Marvel universe, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, has new developments to announce. The game's official Twitter account shared information about a change to the PC version's storage requirements, along with other details. The game's size must have felt fairly steep to players, since this kind of adjustment was made.

Update Arrives on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy PC Version

The new storage requirement set for the PC version is now 80 GB instead of 150 GB. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy's official Twitter account posted the following on the matter: "Hey everyone! We wanted to give you an update on the final size of the PC version of the game, which will not be 150 GB. The team is in the last stages of optimizing the final game and we can confirm the file size will be approximately 80 GB at launch"

The game's official Twitter account also shared how much storage space is needed for PS4 and PS5.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is expected to launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC on October 26, 2021.
