How Do You Unlock Avada Kedavra in Hogwarts Legacy?

In Hogwarts Legacy, players can choose to be good, and they can also choose to be evil. Players who choose the dark side can use the most cursed and darkest spell, with no way back: Avada Kedavra. Also known as the Killing Curse, Avada Kedavra is one of the three Unforgivable Curses, along with the Cruciatus and Imperius curses. As we all know from the Harry Potter series, this dangerous spell causes instant death.

However, since it is seen as a forbidden spell, using Avada Kedavra affects the player's reputation. That said, all three Unforgivable Curses, including Avada Kedavra, can be unlocked by doing side quests for the Slytherin student Sebastian Sallow. So how do you unlock and learn Avada Kedavra in Hogwarts Legacy?

How Do You Unlock Avada Kedavra in Hogwarts Legacy?

To unlock Avada Kedavra, you need to be at least level 28 and complete Sebastian's final side quests. The quest to learn Avada Kedavra is one of Sebastian's last quests and appears after players have had the chance to learn the first two Unforgivable Curses. However, to access the quest and learn Avada Kedavra, we should note that you must be at least level 28. For that, you need to complete many side quests. Although the Unforgivable spell has the longest cooldown, it may be good to unlock it, because it defeats all enemies, including bosses, in one hit and makes the final chapters of the story much easier for players. One of the biggest decisions to make in Hogwarts Legacy is whether to use these three forbidden curses. But if you do, you can have some of the most powerful spells in Hogwarts Legacy. So the decision is up to you: would you rather be on the light side or the dark side? Avada Kedavra is the last of the three forbidden curses you can find through Sebastian's side quests in Hogwarts Legacy and the most powerful spell you can have for tough fights. So it pays to make your decision accordingly! 🧙‍♂️
