Summoning a Broom in Hogwarts Legacy (2023)

Once you unlock the ability to summon a broom in Hogwarts Legacy, you can use the following key combinations to ride your broom:

• PS4/PS5: Hold L1, then tap Circle
• Xbox: Hold LB, then tap B
• PC (Keyboard): Hold Tab and press 3.

There are some limits on where you can ride and use your broom in Hogwarts Legacy. You cannot fly inside any building in the game, and all of Hogsmeade is off-limits. You can ride the broom as long as you are outdoors, in a courtyard or on a bridge. However, you are not allowed to descend into many nooks and crevices. In particular, you cannot land on the Ravenclaw Tower unless you are a member of that house. Once you have summoned your broom, you do not lose the ability for the rest of the game. That is all it takes to summon a broom. We think you will enjoy riding the brooms of Harry Potter's legacy, so grab your broom right away and go exploring! But remember the restricted areas. After all, the beauty of the game, just as in Harry Potter, is that both the good side and the dark side are present. That is why you will run into some rules throughout the game.
