What Is Reddit r/Place in 2022?
Place is a collaborative project and social experiment hosted on the social network Reddit, which started on April 1, 2017 and was revived 5 years later on April 1, 2022. The experiment involves an online canvas located in a subreddit called r/, which registered users can edit by changing the color of a single pixel from a 16-color palette. More than 1 million users edited the canvas, placing about 16 million tiles in total, and when the experiment ended, more than 90,000 tiles had been placed. Users were actively viewing or editing.
