Power Shot, a feature introduced in FIFA 23, lets players put in extra effort to score goals, and we think it's a tactic you absolutely need to learn before EA FC 24 launches.

How Do You Perform a Power Shot in EA FC 24?

A Power Shot can be performed by anyone on the pitch, including your goalkeeper, but you'll get the best results using one of your top attacking players. To get good results, you'll want to try Power Shots with your striker's preferred foot, unless he has a five-star weak foot.

Hitting a Power Shot in FC 24 is pretty easy — all you need to do is hold L1+R1 while pressing the circle button or the shoot button, depending on which control scheme you're using.

That's for PlayStation users, and on Xbox it's LB+RB while pressing B.

What's the Best Way to Hit a Power Shot in FC 24?

When taking your shot on goal, whether it's circle or B, you'll want to make sure you release the shoot button at exactly the right moment. (Preferably when the shot power reaches between the third and fourth bar)

You'll also want to make sure your aim is right, since most of us will end up sending a Power Shot into the stands at some point.

When shooting, make sure your left stick is pointed at the goal you're aiming for, and try to pick out the corner.

We expect Power Shot to be very strong in FC 24. Clubs players will now be able to apply the Power Shot PlayStyle to their pros once it's unlocked, letting them unleash crackers from anywhere on the pitch.
