Since Kali Linux is set to English by default after installation, Turkish (TR) characters don't appear on the keyboard. You can set this up with a few simple steps. After logging into your system, if you open a terminal for a Turkish keyboard on Kali, type "setxkbmap tr" and press enter, your keyboard will become Turkish. However, if you shut down the system, you may find you can't type Turkish characters again the next time you log in. We need to make this permanent.

• For this, right-click on the desktop and click "Applications >> Settings >> Session and Startup." You can also get to the same window by clicking the Kali icon at the top-left corner in the image and typing "Session and Startup" in the search field.
• In the window that opens, switch to the "Application Autostart" tab and click the "Add" button in the bottom left.
• In the add application section, you can give the "Name" field any name you'd like. What matters is the "Command" field. Type "setxkbmap tr" here, set the "Trigger" field to 'on login,' and click the "OK" button.
• With these steps, we've set the Turkish keyboard command for Kali Linux to run automatically after logging into the operating system. This way, when we shut the system down and turn it back on, it will run the code in the background on its own without us needing to do anything else, and our keyboard will be Turkish.

• After logging into your system, click the "Applications" icon at the bottom of the panel on the left, then click the "Settings" button among the apps that appear on screen.
• On the settings screen, select the "Region & Language" tab on the left. If you change the "Language" field at the top of the tab, the system's language — that is, all the folder names and menus you see — will change. "Input Sources," on the other hand, is the keyboard setting. Set this to Turkish to use Turkish characters.
• Click the Language field, select "Türkçe," and click the "Done" button. After this, the language setting will change when you restart the system.
• To set up a Kali Linux TR (Q) keyboard, click the "+" button under "Input Sources" on the "Region & Language" page and select the "Turkish (Turkey)" option.
• From the Turkish options that appear, select the "Turkish" option and click the "Add" button in the top right. For a Kali Linux F keyboard, you can add "Turkish (F)" instead.
• That's how simple it is. You can select the default English language in the Input Sources section and delete it by clicking the "-" button. Now you can type Turkish characters on the keyboard.
