Kill the Crows Is Now on Nintendo Switch!

The top-down shooter's chilling Wild West setting and lo-fi aesthetic are coming to Switch with a new 'Curse' system that raises the difficulty.

5minlab, the creative game development studio under the KRAFTON, Inc. family, announced that the top-down shooter Kill the Crows will launch on Nintendo Switch on October 7.

Set in a twisted version of the Wild West, Kill the Crows has players control Isabella, a gunslinger who has sworn revenge, as she faces off against fanatics who worship mysterious humanoid crows in breathtaking gunfights.

Since its official release on Steam in August 2023, Kill the Crows has won over players with its exciting action and unique gameplay. This success led 5minlab to develop and release this new and improved Nintendo Switch version just a year after launch.

Alongside the Switch release, a new "Curse" system is being added to the game, designed for players who want to make their Kill the Crows experience even more challenging. Players can activate Curses at any time to increase the complexity of enemies' "bullet hell"-style attacks or to hide the outer edges of the screen behind a thick, black fog, making the game even tougher.

The Nintendo Switch version also uses the Joy-Con controller's vibration feature so players can fully feel the sensation of pulling a pistol's trigger. The aiming system's difficulty has also been rebalanced and reworked for easier targeting on handheld devices.

The Nintendo Switch version of Kill the Crows was first announced during a Nintendo Direct broadcast on Nintendo's official YouTube channel in August. Kill the Crows is now available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop and supports 10 languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese, Turkish, German, Portuguese, Japanese and Korean.
