When Will the FIFA 22 Ratings and Player Ratings Be Announced?
FIFA 21 ratings were announced on September 10, 2020, and this year's announcement is expected to come around a similar date.
Last year's announcement happened at around 4 o'clock that day.
We expect the player ratings to be announced very soon.
However, some players have started leaking their own ratings through social media :)
Mbappe Shared His Card on His Own Instagram
Mbappe's FIFA 22 card got a +1 increase overall, from 90 to 91, making him one of the highest-rated players in the latest installment of EA Sports' FIFA series.
His pace rose from 96 to 97, and the 22-year-old's shooting and passing each went up by two to 88 and 80 respectively.
His dribbling rose from 91 to 92 and his physical from 76 to 77, but his defending dropped from 39 to 36.
Mbappe revealed he was given another one-point upgrade after last year's 90.
Could being the FIFA 22 cover player be the main reason for this upgrade?
Who Will Be the Highest-Rated Players in FIFA 22?
Can Mbappe Be the Best?
Lionel Messi is expected to take the lead again as FIFA 22's highest-rated player after his 93 rating in FIFA 21. However, it is not yet clear what the Paris Saint-Germain star's rating will be.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who has returned home to Manchester United, should follow closely, having been just one point behind Messi last year with a 92 rating.
Mbappe's 91 rating means he will be among the top-rated players, and after his 91 rating in FIFA 21, we expect the owners of the other two cards that will be the same as or very close to Mbappe's to be the Polish Machine Robert Lewandowski and Kevin De Bruyne. We wouldn't be surprised if Neymar and Jan Oblak join them.
Which Players Will Be Upgraded in FIFA 22?
It was also reported that Jude Bellingham's rating rose by 10 points and his overall skill set reached 79 for FIFA 22.
Dribbling is considered the young star's greatest strength, and his physical was raised to 77, which will play a big part in his climb up the ranks, with his pace and defending listed at 75. His passing is 73 and his shooting set is at 69.
Erling Haaland, who had an 84 overall rating in FIFA 21, is also expected to be among the top players, and after scoring 27 goals in 28 Bundesliga games for Borussia Dortmund last season, a much, much better card awaits us.
