MotorStorm May Be in Redevelopment for PS5

Many PlayStation-exclusive game series have come out over the years, and they still rank among today's nostalgic PS games. Not only are they iconic games, they also deliver a PlayStation-exclusive experience. One of these games is MotorStorm, a series that ended on PS3. Now there are some claims highlighting this special game's comeback for PS5. In other words, MotorStorm may be in redevelopment for PS5!

MotorStorm May Be in Redevelopment for PS5

According to a report noted by Reddit user Aggressive_Anteater6, a vehicle handling designer's LinkedIn page shows they currently work at Lucid Games, where they're believed to have previously worked on a new MotorStorm game. Lucid had previously partnered with Sony on games like Destruction AllStars.

Aggressive_Anteater6 also reported the possibility of a September announcement for Twisted Metal, which Bloomberg reported had been canceled. Lucid Games is working on automobiles, but there's currently uncertainty about what exactly that is.

While MotorStorm didn't achieve the same historic success as other Sony racing games like Twisted Metal and Gran Turismo, it received positive reviews from many critics. MotorStorm was limited to a single generation, starting and ending on PS3, and no new game in the series has released since.

What Could Be New in MotorStorm on PS5?

If MotorStorm is redeveloped for PS5, it could feature the following:

MotorStorm: Apocalypse (2011)

The third game is set in a city devastated by a major disaster. Players tried to survive by racing amid collapsing buildings and natural disasters. This game is considered one of the series' most dramatic and action-packed entries.
