What Purpose Was the OSM 23 World's Best Tactic Built For? 2023
This tactic is generally built around getting maximum output from your squad while conceding few goals and taking a minimum number of losses in a league full of evenly matched or stronger teams. The midfield, which forms the foundation of the squad, could be called the area we need to focus on most. We can split this area into a front three and a back two. By choosing the two players staying back (especially as CDM or CM), we create a strong defensive line together with the help-defense tactic. In our own teams, instead of picking RM and LM, we chose the midfielders we listed as the front three as CAM — you can do the same if you'd like. We do this to boost our attacking effectiveness by giving the midfielders the hold position tactic based on the opponent's strength level. Since we think wing forwards are much more effective, we recommend using them on your team.
