KRAFTON announced today the arrival of the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS 27.2 Update, which brings a range of features to the game's newest map, Rondo, and introduces players to the brand-new "Market" system. The Markets are the first in-game store in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS where you can purchase powerful upgrades and weapons using the game's new currency.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS 27.2 Update: Rondo Markets — Where Choice Meets Chance

With this update, you can make in-game purchases at the Markets added to Rondo. Using BR Coins, Rondo's dedicated in-game currency, you can buy a range of items to get what you need for your next victory. The Markets consist of three different tiers, each offering unique items.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS 27.2 Update BR Coin: The Currency of the Rondo Markets

BR Coin, the new non-premium currency added to the game, can be earned through items that appear around the game world and through in-game missions, as well as by defeating Pillar Sentries or selling inventory items at the Market. BR Coin is the only way to unlock the various items available for purchase in the game.

Emergency Shield Flare and Combat Prep Kit: Exclusive Store Items

Two new items exclusive to the Market have been added. The Emergency Shield Flare is a throwable defensive item, while the Combat Prep Kit is a healing and energy item.

Garages and the Pillar UAZ: A Very Special Driving Experience

Some Tier I Markets come with a Garage housing the Rondo-exclusive Pillar UAZ vehicle. The Pillar UAZ features enhanced protection with bulletproof windows and rugged tires, giving players an advantage on the battlefield.

Pillar Sentries and Safes: Get Ready for a Fight

Rondo introduces Pillar Sentries, powerful NPCs tasked with guarding Tier III Markets; these NPCs are ready to stand up to players seeking high-quality items. Safes scattered across the map offer a chance to find gold bars that can be traded for BR Coins at the Market.

In-Game Challenges and Rewards

Players will be able to earn BR Coin, items, and more by completing in-game missions across three difficulty levels, each with its own set of rewards.

EMP Zone: The Cards Are Reshuffled in Rondo

The Rondo-exclusive EMP Zone disables most electronic devices. This zone adds a fresh twist to the game by forcing players to play PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS in its most basic form, without the use of electronic devices.
