PUBG MOBILE has released the 3.0 update. With the version called Power of Shadows, new mechanics and changes are being added to the popular city areas on the Erangel, Livik and Sanhok maps. In addition to the game mode that comes with new weapons and abilities, gamers can also look forward to Polar Base, a new Metro Royale map set around a snow-covered military base.

PUBG MOBILE, one of the world's most popular mobile games, has announced its long-awaited 3.0 update. Until March 11, players will be able to compete in the new Power of Shadows themed game mode, which covers the Erangel, Livik and Sanhok maps, and try out the new abilities.

Power of Shadows brings a powerful new melee weapon, the Shadow Blade, to the game. With the power coming from the essence of the blade, players can deflect nearby attacks, and with the "Loyal Blade" ability they can stay alert to all shots coming their way and block them for a short time.

For longer distances, players get the new "Sword Draw" ability. With this ability, players can launch themselves into the air to approach their enemies suddenly and quickly escape from tight spots.

The scouting device called "Backup Support," which joins the game with the same update, offers players who take a more tactical approach a Puppet Scout Device that they can use to block enemies and also gather information.

PUBG MOBILE "Power of Shadows" Mode Is Coming: Redesigned City Areas Introduced

With the update, some classic city areas on the maps, such as Yasnaya Polyana, Prison and Georgopol, have been redesigned, and new buildings have been added to the maps alongside changes to existing ones. This gives players new traversal and looting experiences. Some buildings also contain extra items for players to discover, such as Extra Supply Depots and Camouflage Doors.

Improvements Are Coming to World of Wonder Mode

The new 3.0 update brings various improvements to the World of Wonder creative mode. In addition to new customization options, templates, interactive objects and more are being added to the game. Gamers can also look forward to new game devices such as the Virtual Projection Device, which projects holograms of characters, and the Humanoid Enemy Spawner.

Polar Base Awaits Gamers

While many new features join PUBG MOBILE with Power of Shadows, the long-awaited new Metro Royale map, the Polar Base map, will be added to the game on January 14, along with tough Tank and Commander enemies, a hidden high-pressure air gun, area destruction, airline mechanics and more.

The new Royale Pass Ace will be in the game from January 14 to March 16. Players can complete Royale Pass missions to earn rewards and rank up. Legendary items will also come to the game.

Chinese New Year and Then Valentine's Day Will Be Celebrated in PUBG MOBILE

To celebrate Chinese New Year, drops called Dragon's Blessing can be seen in the game starting February 9. The drops, which fall with a lightning effect, will contain a special Dragon Gift. For Valentine's Day, a new and improved version of the beloved two-seater motorcycle will be added to the game. There will also be romantic photo opportunities in themed locations and more.
