In 2019 New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe and in 2020 Super Mario 3D All-Stars were released for Mario, who was celebrating his 35th year. In the same year, the Super Mario Bros. 35 battle royale online multiplayer mode was also created in honor of the 35th anniversary.
