TFT 11.10 Best Champions: Unit Tier List (May 2021)

Patch TFT 11.10 buffed weak units without attacking or nerfing the units that were already strong. Instead, it came with the many small changes expected after the B patch that dropped only a week into Set 5. It arrived with small changes to almost every unit, to team buffs and to a lot of items. This meant the TFT meta was changing.

The best TFT champions list we prepared is an assessment of pure unit strength, put together by combining unit rankings from five different sources on the web. While a unit's place in the patch's dominant compositions is one benchmark for the assessment, its performance as a complementary piece of a composition, that is, its "plug and play" ability, also matters a great deal.

Best Champions in TFT Patch 11.10

TFT 11.10 S Tier Champions

Champions: Rell, Viego, Kindred, Ryze

As of May 2021, it is no surprise that Rell is the best unit in TFT, thanks to the incredibly powerful traits of both the Ironclad and Redeemed comps. In addition, Kindred and Viego deserve to be at the very top of S Tier because they fit incredibly well and have highly functional abilities in Ranger, Assassin and Skirmisher comps. The fact that most comps need the Mystic synergy is enough to earn Ryze his place in the S tier list, and then some.

TFT 11.10 A Tier Champions

Champions: Jax, Ivern, Mordekaiser, Diana, Kennen, Lux, Naitulus

The best champion we can call A tier in Teamfight Tactics Patch 11.10 is of course Jax. Although Kayle, Heimerdinger and Veigo are stronger in the late game, they fall behind Jax because they are somewhat hard to find and building a team around them is troublesome. The Skirmisher buff in Patch 11.10 and the Ironclad comp still being ridiculously strong put a Jax with the right items at the top of the list in Patch 11.10.Ivern, Mordekaiser and Diana also earn a place on this list with the power they have.

Thanks to how strong and cheap Skirmishers are, Kennen appears as another champion on the A Tier list. We also should not forget to add Lux and Nautilus, who are extremely useful thanks to their abilities.

TFT 11.10 B Tier Champions

Champions: Morgana, Taric, Aphelios, Vel'Koz

Morgana remains quite a strong unit despite the nerf that hit her and the other members of the Coven. Her ultimate still does great work even at reduced range and fits perfectly with the Nightbringer comp. 4-gold units like Taric and Aphelios are also on the B tier list. In addition, since the power Vel'Koz has reaches very high levels with the right items and the right comp (Mana-Reaver and Redeemed), we can comfortably add these 3 champions to the B Tier list.

TFT 11.10 C Tier Champions

Champions: Lee Sin, Nidalee, Lissandra, Leblanc, Kha'Zix, Vayne

In C tier there are strong Skirmishers like Lee Sin and Nidalee. Both of them can accompany Jax as secondary carries in a Skirmisher comp. In addition to the other Coven members (Leblanc and Lissandra), C tier also has strong 1-costs like Kha'Zix and Vayne. Both of them are great units if they reach 3 stars and have suitable items. However, none of them counts as the main carrier for a composition.

TFT 11.10 D Tier Champions

Champions: Syndra, Aatrox, Leona, Soraka, Zyra, Nocturne, Kalista, Warwick and Early-Game Hellion Units

Off-meta units like Syndra, Aatrox and Leona, and champions that can be counted as early-game units like Soraka, Zyra and Nocturne, are in D tier. We can also add Kalista and Warwick, who can comfortably carry your team in the early and mid game, to D tier. However, if you cannot get all of these champions to 3 stars, they will struggle quite a bit to carry your team at the end of the game.

Hellions are also largely in D tier, which shows how far this comp has fallen since the last patch. In the early game, Hellions can still cause problems for players. However, it is now very rare for them to make a big impact later in the game.

TFT 11.10 F Tier Champions

Champions: Varus, Udyr

We apologize to Varus and Udyr players, but there is basically no reason to pick these units. If you have a Redeemed team, you can go for Varus, but we cannot say the same for Udyr.
