TFT 11.4 Patch Tier List: Best Comps

A lot of what we knew changed with Patch 11.4 for League of Legends. On the TFT side, we forgot almost everything we knew. With that being the case, the comps that dominated the meta also gave way to new ones. Let's take a look together at the meta comps that defined Patch 11.4.

The Best TFT 11.4 Meta Comps

Dragonsoul and Mage: S-tier

With Patch 11.4, the Aurelion Sol we missed is back in the meta. Even though Dragonsoul was nerfed this patch, once you put Aurelion Sol on the board as your main carry, all that's left is to sit back and watch your opponents struggle!

How Do You Build It?

• Our main damage source will be the Mages.
• Any unit as your Chosen Dragonsoul unit.
• If you're lucky, Mage Shyvana, which you can get from a Spatula.

What Items Do You Need?

• For Aurelion Sol: Hextech Gunblade, Jeweled Gauntlet, and Guardian Angel.
• For Shyvana: Runaan's Hurricane, Quicksilver, and Hand of Justice.

How Should You Position the Dragonsoul and Mage Comp?

Braum and Aatrox should stand at the very front to meet the enemy. Alongside them, another carry, Shyvana, and right behind them Swain and Morgana, will be your team's frontline champions. This way, Aurelion Sol in the main carry role will get the time he needs to use his ultimate.

Kayle and Friends: S-tier

Even though Kayle's damage was reduced in Patch 11.4, it still isn't enough. One Guinsoo's Rageblade combined with the Executioner buff is more than enough for Kayle!

How Do You Build the Kayle and Friends Comp?

This composition revolves around Kayle as the team's main carry and surrounds her with supportive synergies like Divine, Executioner, and Spirit.

• There's no requirement for a Chosen, but getting a Chosen Kayle is one of the best options since she's the main carry.
• If you get an item like a Rapid Firecannon, you can comfortably go with this comp. Early game you can use whatever Chosen you want, but once you hit levels 7 and 8, try to make one of your highest-cost units your Chosen.

What Items Do You Need for the Kayle and Friends Comp?

• For Kayle: Rapid Firecannon, Guinsoo's Rageblade, and Quicksilver
• For Yuumi: Zeke's Herald and Chalice of Power

How Should You Position the Kayle and Friends Comp?

With Shen, Aatrox, and Sejuani standing at the very front, you'll form a line that's tough to break through. Irelia, standing in front of your damage-dealing champions, will protect Kayle and Friends from a possible Assassin attack while weakening your opponent's attacks through her synergy with Shen.

Reaper: S-tier

Another champion who stood out in Patch 11.4 is Olaf. With the tremendous power Olaf gained, the Reaper comp wasted no time claiming its spot in the meta.

How Do You Build the Reaper Comp?

• This composition revolves around Olaf as the main carry and surrounds him with good support units.
• This composition doesn't require a specific Chosen, so try to get a high-value Chosen like Olaf or Morgana. Also make sure you have good items for Olaf.

What Items Do You Need for the Reaper Comp?

• For Olaf: Runaan's Hurricane, Deathblade, and Guardian Angel.
• For Sivir: Chalice of Power and Zeke's Herald

How Should You Position the Reaper Comp?

Items on Sivir will support Olaf. This lets Olaf start the team fight with extra attack speed and ability power. Combined with Sivir's ultimate, your team will speed up even further and melt your opponent within seconds.

Fighter: S Tier

We saw Fighters get nerfed in the Patch 11.4 notes, but with the changed game mechanics, the game slowed down a bit. This slowdown is what let Fighters make a genuinely strong comeback in the meta.

How Do You Build the Fighter Comp?

• This composition needs Shyvana and Nunu as main carries.
• With a Chosen Shyvana and the right items, an 8 Fighter synergy can easily win you the game.
• Picking up Sett late game will get you to max power level.

What Items Do You Need for the Fighter Comp?

• For Shyvana: Runaan's Hurricane, Rapid Firecannon, and Quicksilver.
• For Nunu: Hextech Gunblade, Bramble Vest, and Dragon's Claw
• For Sett: Jeweled Gauntlet and Hextech Gunblade.

How Should You Position the Fighter Comp?

Since every Fighter has a high health pool, keeping them spread apart will buy time for their teammates. Having Nunu up front, dealing true damage, will let you melt your opponent's tank champions with no trouble at all. That leaves Shyvana with the job of cleaning up whatever's left.
