In brief
AI summaryAs of Patch 12.4 in February 2022, Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 6.5 introduced the Neon Nights Mid-Set update, causing a serious meta shift with three flexible comps recommended.
The TFT 12.4 Innovator comp aims for 5 Innovators with Singed, Ezreal, Zilean, Ekko and Seraphine, then swaps Singed for Jayce, with Jhin or Irelia as the four-cost AD carry.
The TFT 12.4 Socialite Ahri comp uses 5 Syndicates (Darius, Zyra, Braum) with Morgana as tank; the Sivir comp starts from a Hextech board with Sejuani, Nocturne, Swain and Jarvan IV.

TFT Set 6.5 has finally arrived. There are plenty of Gizmos & Gadgets to wrap your head around, so it is hard to find what is meta. Do not worry: here is a list of the best TFT Set 6.5 comps and the best meta builds you should try as of Patch 12.4.
TFT Set 6.5 has finally arrived with the Neon Nights Mid-Set update, building on the successes of Gizmos & Gadgets. There is a returning roster of champions, traits and Upgrades to play with, but many new ones too. This means a serious meta shift. Although the same principle of playing around your Augments and items continues, there are some comps that are more flexible and better in most cases.
The comps listed below are the most flexible and do not rely on good Augment rolls in every game, which means you can freely flex between them to reach top 4 or win. Without further ado, here are the best TFT Set 6.5 comps as of Patch 12.4.

Best TFT Set 6.5 Comps in Patch 12.4
Innovator-Based Comp

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Worried about having to learn all the new champions and traits in Set 6.5? You can keep running Innovator.
Ekko is in the game in place of Heimerdinger. This means you will need an external carry from outside Innovator (unless you hit a Seraphine early enough). If you get AD items, you can hold them on Ezreal or Warwick, while AP items can be held on Brand or Swain.
The goal is to reach 5 Innovators as soon as possible with Singed, Ezreal, Zilean, Ekko and Seraphine, then swap Singed for Jayce. If you hit an Innovator Emblem, feel free to push 7 Innovators. Then you need to finish off the four-cost carry of your choice: AD items go to Jhin or Irelia, while AP items can go to Seraphine (or even Vi).
It may not be as strong as the other comps we list below, but if you are trying to learn the Neon Nights Mid-Set update, it can help you play something somewhat familiar. It certainly fits the bill.
Socialite Ahri-Based Comp

It is not exactly the same as Spirit Bomb Ahri in Set 4, but if you miss that feeling, you can go through Set 6.5's "Fan" Ahri. Returning as a four-cost Syndicate Arcanist, Ahri does her damage by spamming Orbs of Deception, gaining an extra one after each use.
With that, she can deal a ton of board-wide damage by synergizing beautifully with Augments like Blue Battery and Luden's Echo. If you hold Infinity Edge-Jeweled Gauntlet on an early AP carry like Brand while collecting Syndicates as you head to the late game, you are ready.
The second core unit of this build is Morgana, the primary tank (along with Braum). If you give her a Morellonomicon (Set 4.5 returns) and any tank item similar to hitting Vex, she will be a perfect front to protect your Ahri.
To complete the comp, all you need is 5 Syndicates (Darius, Zyra, Braum), a second Arcanist (Viktor ideally, but Malzahar or Swain also work) and a second Sorcerer (Orianna). For fun, you can even add a second Scholar like Silco or Renata Glasc to make sure your Ahri is always casting.
Sivir-Based Comp

Do you want to take advantage of not only the new Striker and Hextech traits, but also the new Socialite buff? Sivir gets the most out of all of them. She is a leading AD carry in TFT Set 6.5 along with Jhin (and Irelia), and she focuses more on increasing attack speed (think Set 4 Sivir).
In the early game, you want to play a strong Hextech board with Sejuani, Nocturne, Swain and Jarvan IV. You can turn this very easily (keeping AD items on Nocturne) into a Socialite-Sivir carry board and drop to 2 Hextech with only Sejuani.
