Teamfight Tactics Set 5.5: New Classes

The most eye-catching class of TFT's mid-set update Set 5.5 will undoubtedly be the Sentinels. Tied to the Sentinels of Light, Runeterra's multiverse event, the new set will revolve around the Sentinels' resistance against the Black Mist and their battles with the Ruined.

For the Sentinels to win this war, they will of course need more weapons. Although Cannoneers resemble marksmen at this point, they will look a little different. Some 5-cost classes such as Victorious and Inanimate will also appear in the new set.

There is also a rework for the Forgotten. With Shadow Items removed from the game, the Forgotten became somewhat like the Warlord. This means the Forgotten will gain bonus AD and AP for every round won.

TFT Set 5.5: Cannoneer Class

Champions: Senna, Tristana, Miss Fortune, Lucian

Trait: After their fifth attack, Cannoneer champions replace their next attack with a cannon shot that deals physical damage equal to a certain percentage of their maximum Mana to enemies near the target.

Team Size: 2 / 4 / 6

TFT Set 5.5: Victorious Class

Champions: Garen

Trait: When Victorious champions get a takedown point, their next attacks are empowered to deal 40% of the target's missing Health as bonus magic damage.

Team Size: 1

TFT Set 5.5: Inanimate Class

Champions: Gwen

Trait: At the start of combat, Inanimate champions summon Harrowing Mist in the 2 hexes around them for a few seconds, granting all allies damage reduction from enemies outside the mist.

Team Size: 1

TFT Set 5.5: Sentinel Class

Champions: Olaf, Senna, Irelia, Pyke, Rakan, Galio, Lucian, Akshan

Trait: At the start of combat, the Sentinel with the highest Health gains a shield that grants Attack Speed each time it is applied. When the shield is destroyed or expires, it passes to the ally with the lowest Health percentage. Shield Health and Attack Speed grow with more Sentinels.

Team Size: 3 / 6 / 9
