The Quarry Characters: All Nine Playable Camp Counselors

A night camp far from prying eyes makes things quite scary. An extremely large forest and a lake with depths carry you into the arms of a brand-new adventure. In The Quarry, you have an isolated experience apart from the rest of the world. In the game, you play as nine camp counselors. You can change the characters' lives or put an end to them. So who are The Quarry characters? Let's take a look at which characters we can play with the playable characters list.

The Quarry Characters (2022): Playable Characters

Max

You only play as Max once in the game, depending on your previous choices. He is portrayed by Skyler Gisondo. In the game, Max takes on a supportive role for his girlfriend Laura, who makes time for him. Even if he isn't a very tangible presence, your first few minutes with Max let you meet a fun guy who wants to have a good summer with his girlfriend.

Jacob

Jacob seems like a clichéd jock. Although he is insecure, he also has a soft side. Jacob had a nice summer with his fellow counselor Emma, who broke up with him before the game begins. So Jacob sabotages the van, hoping that one more night at camp can help them reconcile. Although Jacob seems like a terrible guy, he is a character who thinks a great deal about his friends and could put his own life at risk for them.

Nick

You don't see much of Nick in the game. Abigail is the character he spends the most time with, but only you can decide whether the relationship between them continues. Halfway through the game, Nick's personality changes a bit. Nick, a character previously defined by his careful, quiet nature, suddenly turns into a completely different character.

Emma

Emma is a complex character. At first glance, she may appear to be a pleasant, popular blonde. But her relationship with Abigail reveals a quite good person underneath. In one part of the game, Emma discovers a very eerie area. Emma uses her phone camera as a lifeline to reduce her fear and give her the illusion of being far from the situation she is in. Although she cares about her friend's happiness, she can sometimes be disrespectful toward Jacob's feelings.

Abigail

Abigail, or Abi, is a sweet-natured, kind girl who at first doesn't seem equipped to deal with the threats in the forest. An introverted, artistic type, Abi is a character who acts as the heart of the group, bringing out the good feelings in all her friends. But this shy and vulnerable nature requires you to protect her from some of the dangers in the game.

Dylan

Dylan, the PA announcer at Hackett's Quarry Camp, has a talent for fast talking and making jokes. Dylan is a character who is masterful at easing his friends' tension. Abigail may be the heart of the group, but Dylan stands out with his supportive and relaxed nature.

Laura

Confident and curious, she has the actions that set the game in motion. Although her excellent qualities, such as her desire to help others and her devotion to her boyfriend Max, far outweigh her bad traits, they make the game's opening, her terrible and unavoidable decision-making, inevitable.

Ryan

Ryan, the camp's charming, mysterious sailing instructor, is the closest we come to a real "main" character in a game with multiple perspectives. Although he is noted as being a bit of a loner who hangs out with headphones on and is unaware of the world around him, it is a known fact that Ryan cares deeply about his friends and will brave anything for them.

Kaitlyn

If there is one person you want by your side in a creepy supernatural situation, it is Kaitlyn. Not only is she extremely skilled and versatile in every survival situation, she is also an expert marksman who puts both Nick and Jacob to shame and knows how to use a tourniquet. Like Ryan, Kaitlyn is one of the de facto leaders of the survivors, because she repeatedly makes her group safe.
