General Challenges and Trophies

Warrior's Way (Gold)

Reach the outskirts of Halebidu in Chapter 5 without using a firearm or explosive. This basically means starting a new game and making it to the start of Chapter 5 without using any weapons. Make sure you're starting a new game and not carrying over any stats or Treasures — we recommend playing on the Explorer difficulty to make things easier. Ignore the weapons in Chapters 3 and 4 and instead use only stealth takedowns and melee attacks against the enemies you encounter. Enemies shot by Nadine won't invalidate your progress.

Getting to Know You (Silver)

Listen to all optional conversations. There are 17 Optional Conversations in total, one of the game's main collectibles.

Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum (Bronze)

Use every weapon in the game. There are 24 different weapons in total, each of which you need to fire at least once to register. Keep an eye out for them as you play, but if you miss any, you can easily unlock them from the Bonus > Weapons menu after finishing the game. Full list:

Chapter 2 - Infiltration

Give Me a Line (Bronze)

Use every zip line to get across the city. There are four zip lines in total — you have to use one early in the chapter, and two more will come up automatically during the escape sequence at the end. That leaves one more to pick up, which can be found right after the fistfight with three enemies. When you drop to the next rooftop, make sure to go straight ahead and jump to the neon signs, then use the left-hand route along the clotheslines to find the zip line on the next rooftop. When you slide down the final line to finish the chapter, the trophy will unlock.

Chapter 3 - Homecoming

Were You Counting? (Bronze)

Defeat an enemy with the last bullet in your pistol clip. You get ambushed when you hook Vinci to the door, and it gives you the first chance to fire your weapon. Get down to your last round, then finish off an enemy with it to unlock this trophy (a headshot works best).

4x4x4 (Bronze)

Defeat 4 enemies in a vehicle in 20 seconds. For this trophy you need to defeat four enemies with the jeep within 20 seconds. When you run into a large group of enemies, take down the first two in the water, then head up the slope ahead and try to hit two more at the higher level. If you can't get all four within the time limit, restart the encounter and try again.

Now You See Me… (Bronze)

Break stealth and successfully re-enter stealth. By restarting this encounter, take out the enemies in the flooded lower area and pick up whatever you can see in the ruins, then take cover out of the remaining enemies' sightline and wait until you re-enter stealth.

I Was Never Here (Bronze)

Open a lockbox with enemies nearby.

Fingersmith (Bronze)

Pick a three-pin lock in under 15 seconds. The first Lockbox can be found in the same area, meaning two extra hidden trophies can be earned here. If you leave at least one nearby enemy alive while opening it, you'll get I Was Never Here, and if you pick the lock in under 15 seconds you'll also get Fingersmith — if you notice the first couple of pins are taking too long, back off and start again to reset the timer.

Chapter 4 - The Western Ghats

Let's Not Get Caught (Bronze)

Drive off the edge points in the Western Ghats. For this trophy, all you need to do is drive the jeep straight off the cliff at the opening area.

Show Off (Bronze)

Earn a total of 30 seconds of airtime in a vehicle. If you want to get this trophy out of the way right now, keep circling on the ramps until it unlocks.

Your Reward (Bronze)

Take in the view at the top of the Hoysala Empire. Find Hoysala Tower and climb up to reach the main chamber, then open every door to update your map. Now, climb around the broken gate facing the mountain and keep heading up until you reach the top of the tower, then wait for Chloe to finish all her dialogue and start doing some yoga poses.

Token Given (Bronze)

Find a Hoysala token.

Queen of Sorrow (Silver)

Find all Hoysala tokens and obtain the Queen's Ruby. Head to the question mark in the northeast of the map and investigate the White Monkey Temple there to start a side quest that follows the Hoysala Tokens.

Chapter 5 - The Great Battle

Shadow Theatre (Bronze)

Complete the shadow puzzle in 10 moves or fewer. The shadow puzzle has three arms to pull on either side — imagine them numbered 1 to 3 from left to right as shown. Starting from the right side next to the crank and moving along one edge at a time, the solution is as follows: Pull 1; Move Left, Pull 2; Move Left, Pull 3; Move Left, Pull 1; Move Left, Pull 3; Move Right, Pull 3; Move Left, Pull 1; Move Left, Pull 1

Marco Po-No (Bronze)

Play around in the water at the dam in Halebidu. After starting the mechanism and running to the top of the dam, jump into the water — if you turn around and walk a bit further, there's a pool where you won't get caught in the current.

Chapter 6 - The Gatekeeper

Overkill (Silver)

Place multiple C4 charges on the APC at once and destroy it in one big explosion. When you take on the APC, you need to place enough C4 charges on it to destroy the vehicle with a single blast. The number of charges required varies based on their placement and your difficulty setting, but four was enough for us on Moderate. Use the tall grass to sneak around the area collecting C4 from open crates, then throw them onto the APC and detonate them all once they're in place. If you don't destroy it on the first try, select Restart Encounter for another attempt.

Chapter 8 - Partners

Cannonball! (Bronze)

Take an impressive dive off the cliff near the old train tracks. Slide down the upper waterfall slope, but jump left to grab the wall before reaching the end, then climb up to the platform above. Now jump into the pool below to do a cannonball.

Shake For Your Fortune (Bronze)

Ask the Skeleseer a question. At the rope anchor point next to the railway bridge, head out and turn around, then jump to the ledge below where you started. The Odd Skull you pick up here turns out to be a Skeleseer toy — inspect it from the Treasures menu and shake it to see your fortune underneath. This is a reference to an item found in The Last of Us: Left Behind.

Right Under Your Nose (Silver)

Destroy the helicopter without defeating any other enemies. For this challenge you need to destroy the helicopter without defeating anyone else. While it's possible to do this legitimately, it's much easier to revisit this fight from the Encounter Select menu after finishing the game, then use the Bonus > Weapons menu to equip an RPG. Fire off a few quick bursts at the helicopter, then get it to the ground and hold it as it flies past for an easy win.

Chapter 9 - End of the Line

Here, Catch! (Bronze)

Destroy a vehicle with an explosive in Chapter 9. When the jeeps start driving alongside the train, throw a grenade into one and destroy it. If you're having trouble hitting the target, try turning on Target Lock in the Controls menu.
