VALORANT 6.01 Patch Notes

VALORANT's highly anticipated 6.01 patch notes have been shared. The patch notes include some updates to the Lotus map, mode updates, and a number of bug fixes. Here are the details:

Map Updates

Lotus

• Reduced the sound rotating doors make while spinning.
• Removed the queue exclusive to Lotus.
• Lotus is now in the Unrated and Competitive map rotation.

Mode Updates

Replication

• Replication mode has been temporarily removed.

Bug Fixes

Gameplay Systems

• Fixed a bug where the third-person blind indicator above an Agent's head didn't match the actual duration of the blind (e.g. Omen's Paranoia [Q], Phoenix's Curveball [Q]).
• Fixed a bug in Custom Games where switching from the defending side to the attacking side and picking up the Spike could cause the Spike to become invisible and unequippable.
• Fixed a bug that prevented a player who disconnected after dying from being able to plant the Spike upon reconnecting.
• Fixed a bug that broke magazine reloading between shots when auto-scope was enabled while using the Marshal.

Maps

• Lotus
  • Removed an exploit that allowed players to reach the back of B Site.
  • It's no longer possible to get stuck inside the rotating doors.
  • Breach can now use his abilities through both rotating doors.
  • The breakable door at A Passage now has properly functioning vision cones.
  • The Spike will no longer disappear at the back of A Site.
  • Fixed a spot in A Site where the Spike could not be planted.
