VALORANT 6.11 PBE Patch Notes: Chamber Updates, Weapons (May 2023)

Agent Updates

Viper

• Fuel Regeneration
  • Reduced regeneration per second 5% >>> 3.3%
  • Increased time to regenerate maximum fuel after depletion 20 sec >>> 30 sec

Chamber

• Trademark (C)
  • Disable range 4000 >>> 5000
  • Trap arming speed 45 >>> 25
• Rendezvous (E)
  • Equip instantly on teleport.
• Tour De Force (X)
  • Fire rate increased by 15%

Miscellaneous

• Yoru's Fakeout (C) can now be visually affected by Concuss abilities.
• The timing of Omen's From the Shadows (X) voice line was moved slightly earlier to improve player distinguishability.

Cosmetics Updates

• We updated ability action icons to be more consistent across all Agents and abilities that share a common usage paradigm or output. We also added new ones where needed. These icons appear above your equipped ability.

Map Updates

• Pearl has been disabled.

Gameplay System Updates

• The combat report now shows "Allies Concussed" in addition to "Enemies Concussed" for all Concuss abilities.

Weapon Updates

• Weapon Accuracy on Ascenders/Ziplines (Ropes)
  • Minimum spread on ropes increased to 65% of walking spread.
    • Rifles from .8 >>> 1.3
    • Classic from .35 >>> .55
    • Frenzy from .35 >>> .52
    • Ghost from .35 >>> .6
    • Sheriff from .35 >>> .78
    • SMGs from .3 >>> .65
    • Snipers and Shotguns unchanged.

Shorty

• Reserve ammo adjusted 10 >>> 6
• Price adjusted from $150 >>> $300
• Damage with no falloff adjusted 12 >>> 11
• First-step falloff (7 meters) damage adjusted 8 >>> 6

Frenzy

• Minimum spread increased from .45 >>> .65
• Spread curve adjusted.
  • Maximum spread is reached at 5 bullets instead of 6.
• Recoil slope curve adjusted.
  • Maximum recoil will be reached at 5 bullets instead of 6. Total recoil has been reduced to compensate.

Bug Fixes

• Sova's cape dynamics were reworked and smoothed while keeping a silhouette close to his body, so it does not give away the enemy player's position.
• Prerequisites to note before reporting a bug
  • A bug is ideally accompanied by a screenshot or video. This lends credibility to your report.
  • Steps to reproduce bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and find the reason behind it.
• Format when reporting a bug: When reporting a bug, please provide as much information about your computer as possible.
  • Bug Type: Client Bug, In-Game Bug, etc.
  • Description: Explain what the bug that occurred is.
  • Video / Screenshot: Attach a screenshot (F12 in game) or a video of the bug that occurred.
  • Steps to reproduce: If someone else needs to reproduce the bug, provide the necessary steps.
  • Expected result: What should the result have been when you followed the steps above?
  • Observed result: What result did you get when you followed the steps above?
  • System specs: CPU, video card, RAM, HDD/SSD, anything you can provide, even drivers.
