What Are the Valorant Map Names, Locations and Callouts?
There are 5 maps in Valorant: Icebox, Bind, Haven, Split and Ascent, and knowing each map's key locations and callouts is what lets you communicate with your team. No matter how important aim, hand-eye coordination and your equipment are when playing Valorant, there is one very important habit you need to develop: communication with your teammates. In games like CS:GO and Valorant, communication is the essence of winning. Being able to read enemy movements, see where they will enter from, or share the info on where the shot that killed you came from will make your teammates react as if they had turned on a wall hack and lock straight onto the enemy. That is why it is very important not to describe where the enemy is on your Valorant map with things like ''Left!! Wall, wall! How can you not understand, man, it's left!'' In this guide, we have organized the map names, locations and callouts in Valorant for you.
Valorant Map Names
There are a total of 5 maps in Valorant. They are:
- ICEBOX
- BIND
- HAVEN
- SPLIT
- ASCENT
Icebox Map Locations and Callouts
Icebox, the newest map in Valorant (as of December 2020), has two Spike sites. Unlike the other maps, it is a large map mostly covered in snow. With its tight angles, choke points, long sightlines and plenty of structures you can climb on, it is a hard map to play and to learn. The fact that characters such as Jett, Omen and Raze can use these high structures to their advantage means a bullet can come at your head from an unexpected place at any moment. On this map, where the first to shoot wins thanks to the tight angles and long sightlines, playing looks quite difficult.
Key locations:
- Garage
- A Tower
- B Snowpile
- Mid Blue

Haven Map Locations and Callouts
Haven breaks from the maps we are used to with a total of 3 Spike sites. Having 3 sites makes defending considerably harder. The fact that the middle of the map gives access to more than one site raises the value of giving info and communication.

- Link
- Garden
- Garage

Split Map Locations and Callouts
Split is a map where the defending side has the advantage, shouting the power of defense and leaving almost no room for error. But if the attacking side manages to enter the A or B site, planting the Spike is guaranteed. On this map, where good players shine, winning comes from being successful on attack.
Key locations:
- Mid Vent
- A Sewer

Ascent is similar to Counter-Strike's De_Dust 2. It consists of 3 areas: the middle, and the A and B Spike sites. Holding the middle and giving info on rotations will help the team organize its defense incredibly well. It requires good coordination between the A and B defense.

- Mid Market
