Introduced in Patch 1.07 in 2020, this option prevents unbalanced matches, wasted time and unfair Ranked Rating loss. So how do you call a remake in VALORANT?

How Do You Call a Remake in VALORANT?

To call a remake in VALORANT, type /remake in chat at the start of the second round if a player disconnected early in the match. If a player's connection drops at the start of a match, from the start of the buy phase to the end of the first round, a "remake call" can be triggered by typing /remake in chat at the beginning of the second round. To remake the match and start over from the first frame, all connected players on the team must agree to replay through a voting system.

For example, if four players remain on the team, each player needs to vote 'yes' for the match to be remade. If even one player votes 'no' for any reason, the game moves on to the next round. The remake vote lasts throughout the buy phase of the second round. If the vote doesn't pass, it will expire. If the vote passes and the game is remade, all the players who voted will not receive any XP, RR or MMR loss for the match. However, the disconnected player will be punished and will receive a penalty equivalent to leaving the full match.
