The new Team Deathmatch game mode has finally come to VALORANT. This was a game mode Riot Games had been working on for a long time. Team Deathmatch pits two teams against each other. Although it lets players warm up before their ranked games, we can say it is a much more competitive game mode. It also differs from the classic Deathmatch mode in some ways. Let's see what we know about the VALORANT Team Deathmatch game mode and maps.

How Does VALORANT Team Deathmatch Play?
Team Deathmatch went live on June 15. The game mode has two teams of five players each facing off. It lasts 9 minutes 30 seconds. The first team to reach 100 kills wins the match. Unlike the traditional game mode, this mode includes elements from other game modes such as Spike Rush and Swiftplay, which make it unique. The game mode has four different stages. You choose your loadout for each stage. Weapon loadouts change at every stage and also rise in firepower. Among other things, there are weapon spawners, orbs, rescue orbs and ultimate orbs scattered across the map. After a player picks up one of these orbs, it takes 30 seconds for it to respawn. Players can also use their abilities, and they recharge after each cooldown. Ability cooldowns are the same as in ranked or standard games. When a player dies, they respawn 1.5 seconds after their team's spawn. When players respawn, they get a buff that protects them from damage and abilities for 15 seconds. If players stay in the spawn for more than 15 seconds, they start taking damage. The first team to reach 10 kills wins the game. If no team reaches 100 kills before time runs out, the team with the most kills wins. If both teams end with the same number of kills, the match ends in a draw. Each player earns 1K XP per match.
