VALORANT Team Deathmatch Release Date
According to Riot Games Game Director Andy Ho, the eagerly awaited TDM mode will be playable from the start of Episode 7. We are currently nearing the end of Episode 6 Act 3, and the in-game timer shows June 26 as the end date of the competitive act. We can predict that the new episode may start from that date.
VALORANT Deathmatch VS Team Deathmatch
TDM will be "a fast-paced mode featuring tactical gunplay with the weapons in the arsenal, the agents and their abilities, and new maps built specifically for it."
As the name suggests, one of the biggest differences between the traditional Deathmatch experience and Team Deathmatch is teamplay. In the current Deathmatch mode, you can queue alone or with friends, but you compete solo against the other 11 players; there can be only one winner, and the first to reach 40 kills wins.
Team Deathmatch will bring the concept of a team to the solo multiplayer experience. In addition, the new alternative game mode will let players lock in their favorite agent and use their abilities in the familiar Deathmatch setup. In Escalation, another game mode, you are not allowed to choose your weapons, agents or abilities, while in TDM you can pick your favorite weapon and agent. The win condition for Team Deathmatch will work similarly to the traditional Deathmatch mode, meaning the first team to reach 40 kills wins.
Team Deathmatch will also include new maps built specifically for the experience.
How Do You Play VALORANT Team Deathmatch?
Like all other modes, Team Deathmatch will be listed in the horizontal modes menu when you click the Play button on VALORANT's lobby screen. Team up with friends or queue solo so the game fills you into a team. When the game finds a match for you, you will get the chance to choose an agent and a weapon of your choice.
