The VALORANT Van 81 error is usually caused by Riot Vanguard. It can happen after your system runs into a connection error. Restarting your system is needed to fix this error. The main issue stems from Vanguard not starting at the same time as the game.

How Do You Fix the VALORANT Van 81 Error?

You can follow these steps to fix the Van 81 error:

• Press "Ctrl+Alt+Delete," then right-click the taskbar and open Task Manager.
• After that, click on all VALORANT and Riot game processes.
• You can now close Task Manager.
• Open Start, type "run" into the search box, then open Run.
• Type "services.msc" into this box.
• From here, find "vgc" (Vanguard service).
• Right-click it and select Properties.
• Click the "Automatic" option under the Startup type tab.
• Click "Apply," then click "OK."
• Click "Start the service" in the top-left corner.
• You can close Task Manager.
• The Van 81 error will be fixed once you launch the game.
