Which Team Won VCT 2021?
Starting out in Group A, they advanced to the playoffs by beating Vivo Keyd Stars 2-1 and then Envy 2-0 in their opening matches. In the playoffs, held in Berlin, Germany from December 1, 2021 to December 12, 2021, they beat Team Secret 2-0 in the quarterfinals, Team Liquid 2-0 in the semifinals, and finally beat M3 Champions 3-2 in the final to become the VALORANT CHAMPIONS TOUR 2021 champion: ACEND. We were also proud that Turkish player Mehmet Yağız İpek (cNed) was on the roster and played a part in this title. With this title, ACEND became the first world champion and won $350,000 of the $1,000,000 prize pool.
Which Team Won VCT 2022?
Starting out in Group B, they advanced to the playoffs by beating Zeta Division 2-0 in their opening match, losing 2-1 to OpTic Gaming, and then beating Zeta Division 2-0 again in the rematch. In the playoffs, held in Istanbul, Türkiye from August 9, 2022 to August 18, 2022, they beat Leviatan 2-0 in the upper bracket quarterfinal, DRX VS 2-0 in the upper bracket semifinal, OpTic Gaming 2-0 in the upper bracket final, and finally beat OpTic Gaming again 3-1 in the grand final to become the VALORANT CHAMPIONS TOUR 2022 champion: LOUD. They won $300,000 of the $1,000,000 prize pool.
Which Team Won VCT 2023?
Starting out in Group B, they advanced to the playoffs by beating FunPlus Phoenix 2-0 and then FUT Esports, the first and only Turkish team to take part in the tournament, 2-0 in their opening matches. In the playoffs, held in Los Angeles, California, USA from August 16, 2023 to August 26, 2023, they beat Edward Gaming 2-1 in the upper bracket quarterfinal and DRX 2-0 in the upper bracket semifinal. After losing 2-1 to Paper Rex in the upper bracket final, they beat last year's champion Loud in the lower bracket final to reach the grand final. Finally, in a rematch, they beat Paper Rex 3-1 in the grand final to become the VALORANT CHAMPIONS TOUR 2023 champion: EVIL GENIUSES. They won $1,000,000 of the $2,250,000 prize pool. We were proud to see a Turkish team (FUT Esports) in the top 8 of this championship as well.
