The soon-to-be-released open-world action RPG Wuthering Waves; is preparing to rival games like Genshin Impact with its solid combat system, unique traversal mechanic, and diverse character roster. The free-to-play game stands out with its striking anime-style characters and vast world waiting to be explored. In this piece we'll cover the Wuthering Waves characters for you.

Who Are the Wuthering Waves Characters?

Right now, the game has a roster of 16 anime-style characters known as Resonators. Each Resonator is equipped with a varied arsenal, including chained normal attacks, heavy attacks, a unique Resonance Skill (E), a powerful Resonance Liberation (Ultimate/R), an Outro Passive and Intro Skill (which makes up the QTE), and a special Resonance Skill (E).

There are five weapon types: Rectifier, Gauntlet, Broadblade, Pistol, and Sword. The game offers a variety of elemental matchups between characters and enemies. The elements are Fusion (Fire), Glacio (Ice), Conducto (Electro), Aero (Wind), Havoc (Dark), and Spectro (Light).

Wuthering Waves Release Date

Kuro Games announced during its latest Special Program that the game will release on May 22, 2024. You can pre-register for Wuthering Waves via the official website, the App Store, or Google Play.

The game will be playable on PC (Epic Games), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, and iOS.
