FC 25 Release Date, Price, and PS4 Support

While EA keeps dedicating plenty of time to FC 24, information about their next game, FC 25, has already started to surface. Although the first entry in the EA FC series drew some criticism over various gameplay issues, FC 24 was largely loved and played by fans. So what do we know about the new game so far? When will FC 25 release? How much will it cost? Will it come to PS4?

When Will FC 25 Release?

FC 25's official release date hasn't been confirmed yet, but based on the previous release dates of FIFA and FC 24, we expect the next game to launch in late September or early October this year. September 27, 2024, could be a fitting date for this. Some FIFA pages have also shared this date.

How Much Will FC 25 Cost?

Since there's no indication so far that FC 25 won't come to last-gen consoles, we can safely assume it will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

In terms of pricing, we expect FC 25 to match FC 24's launch prices, which varied by edition as shown below.

• Console Standard Edition - £69.99
• Nintendo Switch Standard Edition - £59.99
• Ultimate Edition - £99.99

We expect EA to focus more on the Youth Academy with this game, which has ranked high on Career Mode wish lists. A new report has also surfaced claiming FC 25 will feature a complete AI overhaul targeting different areas of the game, including Career Mode, Pro Clubs, and Volta Football. With this AI overhaul, we think AI players will become smarter than in previous games and adapt to different situations on the pitch.
