Producers Christian Linke and Alex Yee Confirm the Award-Winning Series' Final Season Is Coming Soon

Arcane's Brand-New Images and Teaser Revealed!

Calling all residents of Piltover and Zaun! Netflix and Riot Games have revealed the teaser and new images for ARCANE's second and final act.

During a League Dev Update released earlier today, Christian Linke said, "Arcane is just the beginning of our broader storytelling journey, and our partnership with the incredible animation studio Fortiche," and continued, "Ever since we started working on this project, we've had a very specific ending in mind, which means Arcane's story is completed with this second season. But Arcane is just the first of many stories we want to tell in Runeterra."

In this final act, Jinx's attack on the Council sets the stage for the conflict between Piltover and Zaun to escalate quickly.

The Primetime Emmy Award-winning series returns to screens exclusively on Netflix this coming November.

Riot Games' ARCANE returns to Netflix this coming November. Adapted from the League of Legends game and one of Netflix's most successful animated series ever, the animated series was created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee. Executive producers include Linke, Marc Merrill, and Brandon Beck. The animation studio is Fortiche Animation. The voice cast includes Hailee Steinfeld (Vi), Annie Award winner Ella Purnell (Jinx), and Katie Leung (Caitlyn), Reed Shannon (Ekko), Amirah Vann (Sevika), Mick Wingert (Heimerdinger), Ellen Thomas (Ambessa), and Brett Tucker (Singed), with additional cast members to be announced later.

ARCANE's first season cemented Netflix's leading position in adapting game franchises into animation culture. Named one of 2021's best TV shows globally, the adult animated series also won four PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS (2022), including Outstanding Animated Program, making it the first streaming series in history to win Outstanding Animated Program. The series achieved major success at the 2022 Annie Awards, winning in nine categories including Best TV/Media, Best Writing, Best Voice Acting (Ella Purnell), Best Directing, Best Production Design, Best Character Animation, Best Storyboarding, Best Character Design, and Best Effects. It also won Best Adaptation at The Game Awards 2022, backed by the gaming community as well. The Arcane album was also nominated for Best Soundtrack at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
