Assassin's Creed Remake Release Date! What Should Change?

The Assassin's Creed series began in 2007 and has kept its popularity ever since. Seventeen years later, we're facing a remake of the series. The franchise has film adaptations and books, and new games keep coming too. Amid all this, Ubisoft has announced that it's developing an Assassin's Creed Remake. There's no official release date for the game yet, but we can make some speculations about the Assassin's Creed Remake release date and what we expect from the game.

The Assassin's Creed Remake release date isn't known yet, but we think it could possibly come out later this year or next year. It's also known that this new game will release for all platforms that can support it.

What Should Change?

As for our expectations for the game:

• First, we can hope to see a more dynamic system that lets missions in the game be completed faster.
• Parkour is the core mechanic of this action-adventure series. Most of these games have usable parkour, but unfortunately none of them have truly mastered it. So the new game could develop more dynamic parkour mechanics.
• We think it would be exciting to be able to pull off moves like those in Syndicate and Valhalla in the Assassin's Creed remake. So we can expect to see new combat mechanics.
• We can expect an end to modern-day storylines full of characters making questionable choices.

What Is the Assassin's Creed Story?

The stories of the popular games go like this:

• In the first game, the main character is Desmond Miles. Desmond is a young man descended from the Assassins, and he's kidnapped by Abstergo. Abstergo wants to access the genetic memories of one of Desmond's ancestors, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad. Altaïr is an Assassin who lived during the Crusades in the 12th century. Desmond accesses Altaïr's memories through the Animus and begins to better understand the war between the Templars and the Assassins.
• The series' second game tells the story of another Assassin named Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Ezio's story takes place in Renaissance Italy. Ezio becomes an Assassin to avenge his family and, over time, becomes an important member of the Assassin Brotherhood. Ezio's story continues in "Assassin's Creed II," "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood," and "Assassin's Creed Revelations."
• In the third game, the story moves to the era of the American Revolution and revolves around a new main character, Connor Kenway. Connor rebuilds the American branch of the Assassin Brotherhood while fighting against both the British and the Templars.
• "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" tells the story of Connor's grandfather, Edward Kenway. Edward starts out as a pirate and sets off on an adventure in the Caribbean. Over time, though, he joins the Assassin Brotherhood and fights against the Templars.
• "Assassin's Creed Unity" takes place in Paris during the French Revolution. This game tells the story of an Assassin named Arno Dorian. Arno fights against Templars who are taking advantage of the chaos of the revolution, while also seeking his own personal revenge.
• "Assassin's Creed Origins" takes players to Ancient Egypt and tells the origins of the Assassin Brotherhood. The main character, Bayek, sets out to avenge his son and eventually becomes one of the founders of the Assassin Brotherhood.
• "Assassin's Creed Odyssey" takes players to Ancient Greece and is set during the Peloponnesian War. Players can choose to play as a mercenary named Kassandra or Alexios. The story revolves around both personal revenge and family secrets.
• "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is set during the Viking Age. The main character, Eivor, is a Viking warrior who migrates from Norway to England. While founding a new settlement and fighting against the Templars, Eivor also becomes a member of the Assassin Brotherhood.
