Can I Play CS2 Left-Handed?
First of all, as in every FPS game, all players in this game are set to a right-handed view by default. However, some players may want to switch to left-handed. Unfortunately, using a left-handed viewmodel in CS2 isn't possible. It's unclear why Valve chose to remove this option, which was previously possible in CS:GO with the cl_righthand 0 command. If you try this command in Counter-Strike 2, it won't be recognized.
If you're left-handed, it's completely natural to prefer a left-handed view in the game. If you're right-handed, you might think using a left-handed viewmodel is pointless.
However, even many right-handed players use a command to quickly switch between left and right hands. This is because the weapon and your character's arms can sometimes block your view, so switching sides can quickly free up your line of sight on one side.
What Is the Code to Switch Your Weapon to Your Left Hand in CS2?
As we mentioned, unlike CS:GO's cl_righthand 0 command, there's no code yet to switch your weapon to your left hand in this game. If you try to use this kind of code in the game right now, you won't get any response. But we think Valve could roll out an update for left-handed players before too long. Until then, it looks like we'll be waiting. You can keep following us for more CS2 articles! We also keep bringing you the latest content about games through our Gamer Papers YouTube channel...
