How to Complete the Destiny 2 Twilight Triumph

Festival of the Lost 2024 gives Destiny 2 players a new and rare cosmetic, Lost Memory, a fully black shader. However, earning this reward requires completing a hidden Destiny 2 Twilight Triumph. This triumph invites players to complete certain missions using different masks. Learn how to complete the extensive Destiny 2 Twilight Triumph mission chain and discover how you can obtain the special rewards.

Festival of the Lost 2024 and the Lost Memory Cosmetic

The Festival of the Lost 2024 event offers Destiny 2 players unique cosmetics and missions as one of its limited-time events. This year, a Lost Memory cosmetic with a fully black shader stands out as the reward. However, to obtain this shader, players need to complete a hidden triumph called Twilight. This hidden triumph is located in the Episode: Revenant tab and consists of a few specific tasks that must be completed.

Twilight Triumph Mission Stages

1. Talking to NPCs

The first task requires the player to talk to Eva, Drifter, and Saint-14 while wearing the Tower Staff Mask. This task both guides players toward unlocking the masks tied to the event and offers interesting information about the event's story.

• Starting a Dialogue with Eva Levante: When you talk to Eva while wearing the Tower Staff Mask, a side quest called "The Mystery of the Missing Bags" is triggered. Eva's Mystery Grab Bags prepared for the event have gone missing, and she thinks Drifter is behind it.
• Visiting Drifter: Drifter denies Eva's claims and says he's seen traces of one of the Exo characters, namely Saint-14. Based on this information, the player needs to go to the Hangar area, talk to Saint-14, and pick up the item called Confiscated Grab Bag.

2. 100 Grenade Kills with the Cursed Thrall Mask

In the second task, players are asked to get 100 grenade kills while wearing the Cursed Thrall Mask. This task encourages players to use explosive weapons and is a stage that can be completed quickly.

• Weapon Choice for Grenade Damage: For this task, Wave Frame grenade launchers like Martyr's Retribution or Forbearance are especially recommended. These types of weapons deal damage over a wide area, letting you quickly take down enemy groups, especially crowded ones.
• Task Areas: One of the best ways to complete this task is to get grenade kills in areas with a high enemy density, or at the Shuro Chi checkpoint. This task can be done in any open-world area, so players can choose the areas they're most comfortable in.

3. 50 Sword Kills in Haunted Sectors with the Finalized Ghost Mask

In the final stage, you need to get 50 sword kills in Expert Haunted Sectors while wearing the Finalized Ghost Mask. Haunted Sectors are known as areas specially designed for the event, with high enemy density, and regions where new special weapons such as Arcane Embrace can also be earned during the event.

• Entering Haunted Sectors: You can accumulate event rewards by fighting in these areas. You can enter Expert Haunted Sectors alone or with a team. While entering with a team gives an advantage in terms of loot, this task can also be done solo.
• Sword Choice and Tactics: To complete sword kills quickly, you can use your favorite swords and focus your energy on enemy groups. It will be easier to get these kills especially during waves when enemies are crowded.

Rewards of the Twilight Triumph

Players who complete the Twilight Triumph receive the limited Lost Memory cosmetic and the new Spectral Carapace emblem. Lost Memory can also be obtained by opening Eerie Engrams during the event. Since these Engrams have a fairly high drop rate, it's possible to earn extra memory cosmetics outside of the task as well. However, since players can only store three Lost Memory shaders in their inventory, it's recommended to apply this cosmetic to your favorite weapons before the event ends.

Completing these tasks offers more items and experience in the Destiny 2 world while also earning players a unique look throughout the event.
