FIFA 24 Exclusive Licenses (EA Sports FC 24)

Licenses might seem like a minor part of a game, but the truth is they can put people off before they even try it! License battles between Konami, EA Sports, and several other games competing for exclusivity over the best players, leagues, and clubs have never been this fierce.

In recent seasons, eFootball has taken some major leagues and teams away from EA, and a few Serie A clubs sided with the free-to-play game. Still, EA holds on to the majority, and that's set to stay the same for now.

According to EA's latest announcement, the new game "will be built on a foundation of inclusivity and innovation, with fans experiencing unrivaled authenticity through access to more than 19,000 fully licensed players, 700 teams, and 30 leagues, backed by more than 300 global partners spanning both women's football and grassroots football, allowing for further expansion in these areas."

So far, Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, WSL, NWSL, and CONMEBOL have been confirmed as partners, with more still to be added. With such a broad license portfolio in hand, EA is already gaining an edge over its rivals.

It remains to be seen what this means for EA Sports FC 24, but there's always a chance the game could turn the branch into a live broadcast service or somewhere to watch the key moments of a match.

EA SPORTS FC Brand Vice President David Jackson said, "EA SPORTS FC is committed to delivering the most authentic and immersive experiences in global football."

"Our innovative new partnership with LaLiga takes this passion even further, cementing both organizations' place at the heart of football culture.

What Will Arda Güler's FIFA 24 Ultimate Team Card Look Like?

Rather than handing newly promoted players very high ratings within a season, EA intends to start them with an average card and then create special cards based on their performance during the season. Given that Arda Güler only found regular playing time and made an impact in the second half of last season, expecting him to start with a top-tier card would be a bit wishful.
