It's been about six months since FIFA 23 came out, and we've reached the point where players have gotten a full grip on all the game's dynamics. Even though the new game is still a way off, attention is already turning to the next title, especially with EA Sports confirming it won't use the FIFA name and will continue under the EA Sports FC name instead. When Will FIFA 24/EA Sports FC 24 Come Out? Is the Release Date Known?

EA Sports doesn't have a specific release date yet for its next football game.

FIFA 23 launched on September 27, 2022, and it's very likely that EA Sports FIFA 24 will come out around a similar time in 2023.

This release window is generally EA's preferred period, since it roughly lines up with the start of the new European club seasons and keeps the game front and center as Christmas approaches. With the summer transfer window closed and most clubs' squads settled, late September also stands out as the most likely date for FIFA 24 to release.

When Will FIFA 24 Mobile Come Out?

We expect FIFA 24 Mobile's release date to fall in the same window as FIFA 24's. While there's no firm information about the game's release date, we expect it to hit shelves in early or mid-November. Since FIFA 24 is expected to release in late September or early October, we expect FIFA 24 Mobile to come out somewhere between those dates.

When Will We Know EA Sports FIFA 24's Release Date for Sure?

EA has hinted that more news about the next game will be announced in July 2023, and that the release date will likely be confirmed then.

Why Won't the New Game Be Called FIFA 24?

Even though our early searches and everyday conversation might refer to it as FIFA 24, it's now confirmed that the next game will actually not be called FIFA 24, and will instead be renamed EA Sports FC. The new name was announced last year as a result of EA Sports and FIFA ending their 20-year partnership.

The two sides couldn't agree on a renewed deal, which meant the game had to be rebranded.

Will EA Sports' Existing FIFA Licenses Still Be Valid?

Even though EA Sports has lost the FIFA brand, it holds separate agreements with 300 clubs and leagues worldwide, which will let player names, clubs, and competitions carry over into the game after the change.

Will All Game Modes Be in EA Sports FIFA 24?

In its press statement about the split, EA Sports said, "Everything you love in our games will be part of EA SPORTS FC — the same great experiences, modes, leagues, tournaments, clubs, and athletes will be there."
